I received the skinceuticals advanced corrective peel yesterday . It burnt a lot during the procedure so we only did one pass. I woke up this morning with red marks all over . My face also hurts a lot when I touch it. I am planning on using aleo and neosporin be ause I think I will be getting some nasty blistering
My dermatologist did a 70% Glycholic Peeling Wednesday. My skin look horrible. I have areas witch look burned and are peeling and I have red- brown patches that looks like melted, burned skin and won't peel. Skin is itching very bad.My Dr sayed I should just wash my face once a day, use a sun screen every 3-4 h and use a moisturizer (called mesoestetic post-procedure fast skin repair). He told me I shouldn't worry because I will not have scars left but at this point I don't believe him.PLEASE HELP
Hi I have a normal clear skin and every night i use a mild retinol ,not the strongest one with prescription ,and one day i used a Mandelic acid peel on my skin the day after and it's been 2 weeks that i have like a red mark on my cheeks and few capillaries that i didn't have before! i've been very gentle on the skin, using vitamin E and aloe vera ,but i'm really scared that i permanently damaged my skin with burned scars! do you think they will fade or i will need laser treatment ?
I had obagi radiance chemical peel with 2 coatings 10 days ago it is suppose to be gentle and cause mild peeling! I have been left with red markings on my face and spider veins are redder and more visible on my checks. The markings look like deeper red capillaries that have emerged. My skin is normal but sensitive and fine with mild rosacea. Im worried this has been too much for my face and i will be left with these new spider vein red markings and increased flush. Will these be permanent? Help!
My chin area bothers me so much! It's so uneven looking from the rest of my skin. It's darkened a bit, has scarring, and looks wrinkly really up close. I had aggressive electrolysis done when I was younger. I am 35 and just want a smoother look without the discoloration look (which I believe is from both the scarring and some discoloration). I have a consult with a board-certified derm tomorrow and have no clue what to expect. I had a microdermabrasion done many years ago which did absolutely nothing (had only one treatment but I could tell I needed something a little more significant). I had one Obagi (I think, or TCA peel) peel which didn't do much. I don't even remember my skin peeling afterwards. I posted in the laser resurfacing forum yesterday but honestly, I am way afraid of lasering my face. I was wondering if a chemical peel would help with my issue, maybe a series of a few? Any ideas? Or would I absolutely need something more aggressive?
