I am 33 and have large pores and a shiny complexion, my skin appears to be on the thin side as well. I have considered chemical peels and laser but I am uncertain what procedure will be most effective for how severe my case is. I have heard that microneedling is not an effective treatment for my skin type. I am really looking to even out this skin tone and make the pores less visible. I have not used Retin-A products yet. Any treatment option suggestions are appreciated!
I have fine lines and would really like to get these treated. I know that Fraxel lasers are the gold standard for helping this, but I've also heard horror stories of orange peel skin and other issues after these lasers. Would a deep chemical peel be a safer alternative? Do deep chemical peels carry the same risks in your opinion?
I previously had a fractional Co2 laser procedure that was supposed to correct some light acne scarring and rejuvenate my skin. The procedure left my entire face covered in orange peel texture. Would a medium depth peel correct this? Would it require a series of treatments? Unsure how to correct this.
Hi. I got three sessions of Emerge laser done on my entire face 10 months ago to treat acne scarring. I have since been left with orange peeled textured skin with tiny pin hole marks. I used to have a smooth soft complexion with barely visible pores. I am not sure what would be the safest treatment. Would chemical peels be an effective option? I am very desperate.
5 years ago I did a chemical peel in at spa that I even didn't research or nothing, results; my skin have orange peel texture, weird lines, loss of fat in cheeks and even hyperpigmentation, I kind of give up looking for solutions four years ago, but the more older I get (now 36) everybody think I'm 10 years older! Is getting really bad for my self esteem, and I start thinking I did ruined my skin very bad, my skin is always shiny, big pores, In some lights my skin looks worse don't use any makeu
The acidity from the orange peelings caused indentions and scabs after I feel asleep with my face on them and plz what do I do and use to heal the brown scabs and so they don't scar was so sleepy that I was at my table and peeling an orange. After I ate it I then dozed off with the left side of my face on the orange peelings. It is now red and scabbed over. What do I do and how to I prevent were my face layed on the orange peels from scaring and for the brown scabs to heal?
I am trying to understand the science of why Peau d'orange texture occurs at a cellular level. If any doctor could explain this thickened, pitted texture to me I would greatly appreciate it. I am unclear if it is an inflammation issue, a scarring issue, or has more to do with the ratio of damaged cells to healthy cells. Thanks in advance!
I am 34 years old, and am interested in smoothing out the orange peel look. I had a acne as a child and it has reared it's ugle head again as well. I know I am ready for some fillers probably but looking for answere to smoothing my skin and getting an over all tighter look. I have read abut PRP? Is this the solution? I work full time and don't have alot of down time. But am willing to do almost anything. I have had 2 IPL treatments recently which helped with some pregnancy melasma.
