Hello, I'm a 28 old guy that had medium/deep chemical peel with phenol because of excessive sun damage. I am very pale so I thought the peel would be ok for my skin. I'm 3 years post peel and my skin is burning red. The peel ruined my skin completely. I have orange skin texture, all my face is very red and it looks like the peel just burned my skin significantly. what need to be done to repair it?
Couple weeks ago I waxed my upper lip area and I kind of burned it. The first week it was read and it was burning. The second week it turned brown and smooth it wasnt burning but There was a brown spot above my upper lip as if I have a mustache. Third week it turned dark brown and makeup does not cover it. Im wondering would chemical peel help getting rid of that dark brown old wax burn. Or should I go for a laser. I dont know what treatment I should consider. Please help
Last year I had radiation on my breast after I had a lumpectomy for breast cancer. The breast in general is fully healed a year later, but the nipple is discolored (a yellow-brown color) and the texture is a bit different from the non-treated nipple. Are there treatments that can be done to help improve the color and texture of the areola? I'm a 50 year old woman, and now in good health. I've been using scar cream on my scars and areola, but wondered if there is anything I can do?
For a week, I used the product and it peeled and burned my face, i stopped using it after a week because it stings and hurt so bad, can you help me how to heal my face burns and peeling due to the product. I got a chemical peel 20 days ago and the day after my peel my upper lip was basically burned. It scabbed and was very pink and sensitive underneath. Now it is dark brown and I want to know the best recommendation for treatment? I went back to the place I got it done at after 2 weeks and they told me its still healing and to come back in 2 weeks. I didnt agree so I went to another dermatologist and they said that its PIH. I am looking for opinions on whether or not this can be treated?
She went extra over this area with microneedling b she said thats where my scars are deepest. I was weirded out that the peel was put over my skin right after microneedling. She wanted to microneedle more w the peel on but I refused, she removed it after about 2 minutes and said it was a mild peel. Today is the 3rd day, now have this brown scab/pink under. Was told to come back for another as soon as my skin heals rather than waiting 4 wks.
I got mild chemical peel 15 days ago.. My skin got burned it turned black . There is only 15 days left for my marriage.. I am restless and scared now..I got chemical peel in different place and i cant go back now. The doctor said to use glyco 12% and momate cream on alternate days by seeing the photo,,Do i need to visit other doctor.. Kindly help it will turn to noraml skin color in 15 days.
I got a facial 48 hrs ago at a spa. The serum used was glycolic acid, lactic acid and salicylic acid and was supposed to be a routine, gentle facial. I ended up with chemical burns and went to see a NP at a derm office. I was prescribed Mupirocin and Clobetasol creams to use BID and have been applying Aquaphor in between. My sister is an MD and is concerned about the use of Clobetasol on my face on burned skin.
My dermatologist asked me to perform a chemical peel at home. I did it two days ago by following all the instructions given, but I woke up the next day with red and inflamed cheeks :( Is this normal? Any suggestions on what I should do? I asked my derm and she told me to apply desonide lotion 2 times a day for 1 week. But Im afraid the desonide will clog my pores and leave me with more whiteheads than I already have. Thanks in advance!
