I have myself a 15% TCA peel and I noticed the skin under my lips is a darker more pink color then the rest of my skin. I'm still healing from it so I wasn't sure if what I'm experiencing is normal or not... Did I burn myself, or is this normal? This is day 3 after the peel.
I am terrified that the colouring will be Permanant. I had a chemical peel 3 days ago (mild because first time) and yesterday my skin started flaking very badly. I didnt receive any aftercare instructions other than sunscreen and lots of moisturizer so I started peeling the skin off. I have now read online that peeling the skin can do real damage. I am quite red on my chin and under my eyes and my skin looks awful.
I'm a South asian..I did a salycilic+glycolic peel 3days ago..now my skin is experiencing brown patches..with itchy red bumpy rashes..i have burning sensation too..application of Vaseline helped relieving of it..now my whole face has darkened... I'm afraid that this condition persist life long
Did the Perfect Peel on Friday. Im on day 3 - everything is going well, started peeling. Using the post Peel moisturiser thats in the kit - sparingly - but its really stinging on the skin under the peeling. Tried a little of my normal moisturiser, but that really stung too. Im only washing with water, and carefully patting dry. The skin doesnt look red or inflamed, it just feels very sore/stinging with any moisturiser including the one in the kit. Any suggestions? Thank you!
