Ive had IPL treatments done in the past that yielded significant peppering on my face. I had a BBL treatment a while back and there was no peppering at all. Does peppering equal results or will the pigmented area still fade without visible darkening after the treatment? Im considering buying a package deal and Id like to understand if improvements occur even without the telltale darkening of spots immediately after the treatment. Thanks for any responses.
I did one round of a BBL laser treatment on my face, neck and chest. Immediately after procedure, I had redness, which subsided over a few hours, however, one red patch remained, which I suspect may be a blistering burn mark. I had some mild seeping, the first day,but now the patch is dark, red and rough texture. Almost a scab like appearance,The provider told me that this is normal and to continue to put Aquaphor or Vaseline on it a couple times each day. What could this be??
I'd like to get BroadBand Light (BBL) on face, neck, and chest. My neck has very little fat and pretty thin skin. Could BBL damage my thyroid? I'm worried BBL could damage my thyroid and slow down my metabolism and cause weight gain.
I received BBL Hero treatment for acne marks and redness. My dermatologist told me I should be clean shaven for the treatment, but he assured me it wouldnt affect my facial hair. But as my facial hair has grown back, Ive noticed large patches on my sides where hair isnt growing(its been a few weeks). It is possible the BBL permanently removed the facial hair in these areas?
I scheduled a bbl laser treatment with a dr who I had a short consult with about something else. Their coordinator prescribed numbing cream with barely any directions to apply prior to the procedure then add plastic wrap. Upon following up about if the plastic wrap could enable toxicity etc she just said not to use it but didnt address my questions.
I had a BBL done asking for treatment of broken capillaries and sun spots. Three days later, the sunspots are fading, but it looks as if the broken capillaries are still present. I used to get an IPL treatment and the capillaries would only take two days to start to fade. Is the process with the BBL different? It almost looks like they were not treated.
Im fair white skinned. I was thinking of getting the bbl for sun spots on my arms. Is that the best laser for that? Also i was wanting to improve my skin texture and do a chemical peel on them also. Would it be best to do the chemical peel before or after the bbl treatment? And how long would you have to wait before or after to do the other treatment? I was thinking peel then bbl... Am i correct? Would it help the bbl to work better? And if so how long between the two would you wait to do it?
