I had my breast reduction almost 7 weeks ago, from 42H and aiming for a C. This morning I woke up with a burning, tearing sensation under my right breast, just below the scar. I have been applying cocoa butter 3x daily per my surgeons instructions. It looks almost like new stretch marks are forming under my breast. I'm concerned this may be a sign of infection. Is this normal or should I contact my doctor?
Please help! I need to know of any vitamins or anything I can do to make this heal faster. I'm 8 weeks post op today. And I can't swim I can't lift I can't do anything with my kids because of these huge tears in my breast. Started at 3 weeks. And just got worse and worse. Help me with any suggestions. I am now in care of VON who change my dressings every few days.
I had Breast reduction surgery almost 3 weeks ago and up until 4 days ago I had no bleeding, oozing, or bruising of any sort. I noticed my bra had dried dark blood on it then start putting gauze and bacitracin on the incision as I thought it was maybe a little tear. The slight bleeding has continued JUST in the one small area and it is a very dark red almost brown color and the surrounding area of the dried blood is a bit yellow. Is this normal?
My TT.and lipo have left me with worsening excruciating pain and discomfort. My midriff is so tight and I'm experiencing a tearing sensation to the right of my belly button. I'm due back at work in 2 weeks time and it's just not getting any better. If anything it feels worse than it did 2 weeks ago. Really worried.
My breast tear started within the first week after surgery. Doctor said it will be ok to leave it and see how much further it goes. He has been seeing me every week since and agrees that it's not getting much better but still wants to wait. At this point I'm wondering if I should consider having a skin graft or have them remove the rest of my breast, resew everything back together (hopefully not so tight this time)? I originally requested breast removal but this is what I received.
