I'm having a Breast reduction and will not be able to keep my nipple intact. Is there anyway detaching the nipples can be avoided and what problems can I expect to have from the nipples being removed and reattached?I'm having a breast reduction in July. My doctor told me that at my size he will not be able to keep my nipple intact. I'm basically going to have no nipple sensation after the reduction? I'm a 36J in bra size. During my initial consult from collar bone to nipple it's about 43cm.
I had my breas reduction performed in July 2022. The procedure went well, although i had a post-op infection after approximately a week. My lft breast breast is puckered underneath and above the nipple. I just want to know my possible options if any. Thank you in advance.
breast reduction on the left side to correct asymmetry. Areola reduction on the right side to match the left. For reference this is done a few years ago. There hasn't been much change except for a little droopiness on my right side from gravity. My nipples are inches different in height, as well as my areolas are different sizes. How can I correct this with surgery? Do I need implants? Any help is appreciated Thanks.
Hello, I had a breast lift at 30 years old in 2005: only a lift/ no implants and no breast tissue removal. Here we are 16 years later and I am scheduled for a breast reduction and lift. My surgeon from 2005 has retired and my records were destroyed in 2014. My new surgeon indicates that he will need to be conservative in his approach without know which blood vessels were tampered with. And could increase chance of nipple necrosis. Please advise of things to consider in my situation. TYVM
Hello, Is it possible to sever the nerves that supply sensation to the nipples? I have been experiencing nipple pain for several years since my breast reduction surgery. The pain began immediately post op. Thank you, Tracy
Will a breast reduction still result in saggy large breasts because of the lower nipple position (from where he would normally place it, by 25%) ? A very skilled surgeon said higher risk of necrosis if he would place nipples where he would normally. Not to expect round or firm breast. Not discussed yet, but no nipples? Would that mean firm, round cup size B or C? I might rather have no nipples, but firm smaller breasts. Instead of surgery from cup H to saggy cup DD.
Hello this is my second breast reduction due to them growing back. Doctor promised me a nice European look. I did my research and trusted this doctor whole heartedly. Since day one I told my doctor I did not like my results. My nipples were weird looking, scars all around and then dog ears. A few appointments ago he agreed to fix this and now he is backing out on his word. This whole experience has affected my mental in a negative way. What can I do ?
I had my breast surgery in 2018 and my surgeon had to correct something months later. In the first surgery he did reconstruct the breasts. The second, he cut and repositioned the nipples only. I lost all sensation. Not only that but he STILL left the nipples too high and to close to the center of my body. I haven't felt comfortable since and I wanted to know if it's safe/a good idea to go to a different surgeon to reposition my nipples and possibly repair nerves to regain sensation.
I had a breast reduction three years ago as well as nipple piercings. The piercings are out as of a year ago but lately Ive noticed white bumps were the piercings were AND red bumps around the areola scar on my breasts. Obviously seeing things on the internet can go crazy so if I can get some advice please! photo)
