I just got a reduction done a few days ago and one of my nipples have been sewed back on in a triangle and become inverted. Whilst the other one is really fat like the Areola puffs out with the nipple. Is this normal ? And are my nipples going to go back to looking normal like the naturally were ?
for any surgeon. i had breast reduction Nov 2015. it went wrong. tissue started dying. 3 months of hyperbaric for infection. left with scars, disfigured, breasts not symmetrical, nipples inverted. will health insurance cover revision without any cost to me. surgeon retired.
I had a breadt reduction last April from a G to a D. I'm happy with the results, I'm just wondering if my surgeon cut my entire nipples off and reattached as I thought that was fairly uncommon. I have cut/scars around both nipples and they look completely different than they did before the surgery. Can you tell from the pictures if that's what he did? I did have mild inverted nipples before, one is better and one is worse. Thanks.
I had a breast reduction October 24th and my dr used the technique that leaves an anchor shaped scar. Around my nipple, down my breast, and then under my breast. He said it is a very common technique. But it has left me with sort of, squarish shaped breast? Which has made me really self conscious. Do they go back to a normal shape of a breast once I begin wearing regular bras again? Or will they remain that shape? Also will an inverted nipple ever reverse? I know it's still soon but I need peace
Hey all, I just had my BR 2 weeks ago. My surgeon used a slightly different technique; it seems that the scars will look like a j and inverted j, respectively- more or less like the anchor scar, but missing the inner-breast incissions. I looked a lot online but cannot find any info on this, is it something standard, or not at all? So far my healing process appears to go fine, my first check-up is due in 4 days.
