I am 2 years post op of getting my breast reduction surgery covered by my insurance. Less than a month after the surgery my skin started bleeding and the surgeon diagnosed me with wound dehiscence. It was treated and closed up but after letting them settle 6 months to 1 year later I also noticed that the shape was very uneven. I am also on a weight loss journey and worried about how my breast will look after. What can be done to improve my breast appearance after I reach my of losing 20-30 lbs?
Lft areola is tender with a dull ache w/ no trauma. After feeling wet, thr was a silver dollar sized blood stain on my bra. Becuz of the tape, Im not sure what is bleeding. I used gauze to clean w/hydrogen peroxide & took a shower. I added Neosporin and a band aid. Tht night the band aid had blood but was not soaked thru. I added more Neosporin and a new band aid. Is this normal for 10 days PostOp a BR? Should I be worried about a hematoma or broken stitches? Will this heal on its own?
I had my surgery on April 2nd and it is not April 27th. After a week of recovery I woke up one morning with blood on my sports bra and an opening at the t zone incision on my left breast. I went to the surgeons on the second week and the nurse looked and said everything seems fine and its probably just delayed healing. Its now 4 weeks after surgery and its still bleeding and my breasts are still pretty sore and swollen. I included pictures of how much blood is getting on the gauze pads
Did a breast reduction and a roccection in local anasthic 1 year post op. Noticed bleeding from bilisters under the brasts after a few days and called the surgeons office. He told me I had a third degree burn. After 1,5 week the blisters turned hard and went black. I lost all feeling underneth mu breasts. He called me late one day and Said he wanted me to come in emideatly to remove all the black skin and so I did after work that day. enyone know what happend to me?
I had a breast reduction 15 days ago. Now I am still bleeding and one side is weeping. When I walk I feel like I am been split in two across where my cleavage was. Should I be concerned. I am due back to work but still very uncomfortable. Everything I have read seems to be recovered in 2 weeks with no pain! Thanks
I am two weeks post op, and my right breast is bleeding around the nipple area. after my surgery i never had drains inserted and everything was fine until five days ago when i noticed bloody liquids oozing out of my right breast, i thought it was because i just had my stiches removed, but days later the oozing has gotten worse and i have to put breast pads to absorb the liquids. my surgeon said it is normal but i find it hard to believe him because the oozing hasn't stopped. is this normal?
I had BR Surgery 21 days ago. After 10 days two open wounds near the T incition open. Left breast wound grew from a dime size to a quarter size. It still bleeds and won't heal. I'm using an antibiotic ointment, then a gauze that contains antibiotic directly in the wound to keep it moist and the sterilize gauze on top to protect the stitches and the wounds. My concern I don't see a scab building on it and keeps bleeding.
I had a breast reduction a little over a month ago. Im concerned about something under my breast, right below the incision. It was red and had a white tip, I squeezed it and just a tiny bit of soft white stuff came out. Its not painful at all, but a lot of blood came out after. I washed it w antibacterial soap and it has a bandaid over it now. Could it just be a buildup of sweat/dead skin in a pore? It is hot where I live.
I had breast reduction over 3 months ago and the t joint where the drain was has granulation tissue sore the size of a loonie $1 Canadian coin dollar. It is bleeding and now looks like a smaller one is forming about a inch away which is strange as that area is already healed
Ive been using bacitracin but the package says to not use it for more than 7 days and today is the 7 day mark. I was going to switch to aquaphor?? Or could i continue using the bacitracin? (Im allergic to sulfa drugs so i cant use silvadene) My right t junction is far worst than the left. The right is an actual small tunneled hole, minimal bleeding but defintely bleeding.
