..was told my options on my left breast. Im thinking of doing implants for both breast but being im a big chested woman already (40-44 G/H cup) i was told by plastic surgeon that the biggest implant i can get is a c cup. My concern is thats wayyyy to small for me, if i had went with a reduction if things were different I wanted to go back to a D Cup. My Concern/Question is am i able to get full D cup instead of C cups?
I will have a bilateral mastectomy soon and want immediate implant reconstruction. I am 5'6 130 pounds. I am considering nipple/skin sparing because I dont want a tattoo nipple nor no nipple. I like the teardrop/natural and was thinking medium profile or low profile as I don't like the round and high fake boob looking shape. I was thinking 350cc or so. I have a B cup breast size now. The left breast is the one with cancer but I am having both breasts removed.
I have 500cc tissue expanders and Im so very unhappy with the size due to my own breast being bigger. I have gone through too much depression and pain. I told the surgeon I wanted to be a D cup and this is what I have so far. Can I get bigger implants once the expanders are removed?
Dx: bilateral BC. 5 months ago double MX, immediate reconstruction (prior implants). Rt axillary dissection 5 wks later. PT resolved AWS/cording. 3 months ago sudden softening Rt only. Now seen thru bras & Tshirt. Nodules. Assymetry: size, shape, position. See & feel protruding implant 1cm below NAC (papery). Forward bend empties out outer breast (squishy). Recent pain: outer breast,elbow (sharp), axilla (burning), shoulder, arm, side, back, sometimes 2 fingers (buzzing pain). Is this normal?
I had a double mastectomy a few months ago (after testing positive for the gene). I've had the expanders in since surgery and am getting ready for my final exchange in a few weeks. Is 750cc too large of an implant? What cup size will I actually be?
