Im 27 and had breast reconstruction following a double mastectomy in 2014. My PS went with a teardrop 425 implant that gave me a very natural but small look along with a lack of cleavage or ability to create cleavage. Over the past few years I've been called flat chested and am hoping to obtain a bit more volume and cleavage while maintaining the natural shape. I considered switching to a round implant but am afraid I'd lose the natural look. I'm 5'4 and 125 lbs and would love to love my body again.
I had a bilateral mastectomy and have allergen 400cc expanders. I've been receiving expansions every two weeks. My skin is stretching ok. I wanted to know up to how many ccs can be filled into the 400cc expanders safely. I know one woman who had a rupture and I don't want to risk any problems. I read that it was ok to go up to twice the amount (800cc), but I don't know if that presents serious risk. Thank you.
I had invasive ductal carcinoma and had bilateral mastectomy radiation to right breast, reconstruction 2 years later.Tissue expanders, don't know size-I have high profile 400cc implants, they look flat and saggingnow, especially radiated side. I would love to go bigger and feel better, or is it too late. My skin is soft and pliable. I am 5ft. 5 in weight 132 llbs. Praying this is possible.Is the procedure to revise size the same as initial placement? What is recovery time?
I had a double profelactic mastectmay 7 days a go. Over the muscle high profile direct to implant 425ccs. I am 5'3'' and 118 lbs and was an a/b size before and now am a 36C. What is the usual timeline nipple necrosis begins? And when do I know I am in the clear?
I am almost done with chemo and am looking forward to completing my reconstruction within a few months. I have 375cc Mentor expanders in that are over expanded to 425cc. They were teardrop shaped and twisted so I have been dealing with lopsided rock hard boobs for a few months now. I am 5'5 and 145 lbs. I am not happy with how far apart on my chest they are. What size and texture should I consider for the most natural results?
I had a left mastectomy 12 months ago, this year I had my right breast removed with tissue expanders inserted : siltex becker 35 contour expanders 460cc, which I understand can be over filled to 535cc Am at 400cc inflation but am lopsided and shapeless still. I anticipated having a fuller breast shape by now and concerned if my expander is to small. My right side is not filling out as much as the left side, which is too high and there is little projection or breast cradle on either side..
17 days since implant exchange surgery (400 cc silicone), and nipple reconstruction. Am active but not exercising. Occasionally lift and carry heavy things. Trying to limit it. Can I do damage carrying groceries or briefly lifting something heavy? If so, what kind of damage and how would I be aware of it? Still have some pain beneath my breasts (especially after exertion) and aches now and then. Is this normal at this stage?
my expanders looked odd when naked but good with clothes on.i wanted that same fullness and size, but more natural looking. Dr put in anatomical shaped implants, but they give me no fullness in clothes at all , while .I had a total of 330cc's plus the initial cc's he gave me at the time of the mastectomy. He will swap them for high or ultra high profile round implants with 400 cc's but says I won't like them when I'm nude! Gee! What do I do?i'm 5'3 1/2 tall 124lbs
