I had a breast uplift on Wednesday (3 days ago) and my left nipple looks great but my right one its looking dark in places. Im really worried about my right nipple having necrosis, I seen my surgeon the day after surgery and was told its just a hematoma? Is there any signs of necrosis here? Im from the United Kingdom and had my surgery in a different part of Europe so its not that easy to go back to see the surgeon.
Why is the stitching under my left breast double stitched with a bubble of skin in between the two? The right side doesnt have that? Just one thin line of stitching. Will this stay a bubble forever or will it heal correctly?? I am only 3 days post op. They also seem extremely misshapen and warped. I didnt get new implants, only the lift/mastopexy,,,is this normal. Very worried
I am 3 days post op (bilateral breast lift, no implants, large breasts 38-40 DD-DDD). I was shocked to learn that my surgeon used staples. I spoke with the office and was told he thought these would give me the best look? My follow up appt is Wednesday so I will talk to him about my concerns. From what Ive read most surgeons dont use staples for breast lifts. Is this sometimes done on larger breasts that require more lift? Also, will the scarring be worse and will the puckering go away?
Hello, I had my operation, breast lift, lollipop, 17th April (3days ago). Doctor told me everything went well, no complications. There wasn't much bleeding through the breast drains as I've been told by doctors checking on me. As each day passes less and less pain, and was doing short walks around the hospital ward on the 18th & 19th. When should stitches be removed, mine are not dissolvable. I'm due to have them removed 25th April. is that too soon?
