My doctor says its draining & its normal,my question is when does draining stop,to bad o did my surgery in miami Florida, but I live in Boston so I dnt have physical follow up with my surgeon,also when you look at the pictures are my stitches alright and does my boob look great?also how often can I change my tape it bothers me after shower I feel like its wet thanks
So about a week after my breast lift with implants I noticed my areola was bleeding a little bit. I looked closer and noticed about 1/2 of it was black and after research learned this was necrosis. I contacted my surgeon and was told to clean it daily with saline and apply antibiotic cream twice daily. He says the pigment should return within a year. Im just looking for more opinions. Does it look like a severe case? Does it look like the pigment will return? What is the yellow stuff leaking?
right breast has separation at the T junction and Ive been cleaning with soap and water and putting a bandage to avoid friction from my sports bra on the wound. Well just now when I was checking on it, liquid literally dripped down onto my stomach and when I pushed a little to see if anything would come out, I could hear fluid inside my breast bubbling a bit. No pain that Im aware of. This breast was tuberous before the lift & augmentation. What should I do?
6 wks post breast lift and augmentation. I have a small hole and a yellow spot where the was once a stitch, is this normal and will it heal? Talked to PS and he says all is normal. Also, still have a rash under each breast after 6 days of steroids. Any recommendations on how to heal small hole or if theres anything I should apply to it?
LOTS tissue removed I pricked both nips for 3 days PO to get Venus blood out. Day6 drains out & Dr said very happy with color but there are some superficial spots. Unnecessary research on here i have found the word Slough (form of necrosis) & Im scared to death again. Today is day 10 PO should i be treating these slough spots? Dr only has me using sil scar treatment and nip protector strips. My BF gets married in Greece in 4 wks, i dont want the bridesmaids to see my yellowsluglooking nipple.
It opened today, pus was yellowish green and blood followed. My PS out of state said to treat it like a pimple and squeeze the pus out and wash with soap and water. There is redness and pain when pressed, should I be on antibiotics?
Hi, I'm 2 weeks PO and I've started seeing a weird yellow-ish/brown discharge leaking from my incisions on my left breast for the last few days and I'm concerned. My 2-week appointment is still 2 days away and I wanted to get some clarity before contacting my surgeon. The drainage also has a slight smell when I wipe it from the crease of my breast but I'm not sure if it's the drainage alone or if it's a combination of drainage and sweat. Does this look like this fat necrosis or an infection?
