10 months post op. I have 350ccs mentor mod plus profile. I am 59 / 160lbs. My scars are painful keloids and my DR. is doing a scar revision this November but I can help but wonder if I need a revision. My left breast seemed to drop lower than the right and they dont even look like sisters, they look like cousins! I need some advice before my Dr. Does a scar revision.
Does sweating or lots of arm movement affect the transaxillary scar? I am military police so I use my hands A LOT. Whether its driving, carrying rifles, etc. I also wear a tactical vest on the reg carrying around 20lbs on the reg. Im not so worried about the healing process of my implants because I will be taking days off, however, once I can be involved in vigorous activities, Im afraid the scar will not look so discrete.
I'm 5'3'' weighing 98 lbs. I'm very petite with a small frame. I wanted much larger breasts and was hoping for silicone implants at 450cc to 475cc. Would such a large implant be able to be inserted through the armpit? I've read that if the implant is too large, it wouldn't be a good incision location. Also, would the shape be affected through the armpit? Which incision location is best for optimal implant placement? Thanks!
I am interested in Breast Augmentation and would love to have an unnoticeable scar. Most gummy bear procedures Ive seen have inframammary incisions and I would prefer no underboob scars. Can I get a transaxillary incision instead? is it safe?
Im mixed (black and white) and when my skin gets scared it usually heals back a lot darker than what my skin is normally. Because of this when going to get my breast augmentation I was leaning more toward the transaxillary incision but I havent found anyone to ask how the healing process was and was just curious to know which one is best for a quick recovery
Most PS in my area dont offer this approach. I understand that if done this way a new incision would have to be created should I need a revision surgeries down the road. I would just really like to avoid having a scars on my breast.
I had my surgery for gummy bears scheduled and cancelled because I got scared knowing eventually I would have to get them explanted as they are not forever devices. I want to know the best option to go for that would cause the least amount of external damage in case they need to be taken out. I was exploring gummy bears through areola but not a lot of surgeons do this procedure, I also came across fat transfer. I'm scared of messing my body up for an insecurity... What would you recommend?
I had my second set of 250cc then 300 cc removed with a small fat transfer due to chronic pain on one side ever since my last surgery (3 breast surgeries due to late seroma and capsule contracture). If my pain on that side does improve, does it seem likely that it would re occur if I get small implants again? Or if it is chronic nerve pain or something that wont resolve, any harm in replacing implants? I could do a second transfer but I understand implants are more reliable.
2 months ago I lifted something heavy which I felt a pop on my left breast. I had an MRI and the Radiologist reported no rupture or any abnormalities. But why is the soreness still present most especially after physical activities or working out? The softness is the same as before. No hardening experienced.
I am having my breast augmentation in 3 weeks time I had my physical surgeon consultation yesterday and 350cc high profile has been picked for me I am starting as a B cup and wanting to go to a DD cup is this the suitable implant size to get to a DD
