I posted over a year ago about discomfort with my breast implants and it hasnt subsided. I am now 4 years post op, everything was fine up until a year ago. Whenever my implants move I can feel a grinding pain against my chest wall, laying on my back I can feel them falling to the side, manually moving them, swimming. No one can figure out why, it has been happening since March of last year. Could it be nerve damage possibly?
I had breast implants 17 years ago. At the time, I had shooting pain in my left breast. Not constant and periodically which I believe involved the implant shifting to my left side (think laying on back sleeping). Implants have been fine since otherwise. A week ago, I was leaning forward and pushed myself up with my left arm. It immediately caused the nerve pain and it has been periodically since if I move wrong, raise arm shoulder level. I'm waking up at night from pain. How can I resolve this?
I got saline implants in '05. I experienced some nerve damage; my nipples & a quarter-sized area to the outer upper region of either nipple was numb for some time. Over the years the numbness resolved & I regained almost full sensation. For the past 2 months I've been experiencing extreme tenderness in this same area and also what feels like possibly nerve pain deep behind my nipple. Any type of touch is intolerable. It is not improving. Shape/size unchanged. What is going on?
I have 4 weeks from the surgery and my right breast I still can't feel it when I touch it..so I'm getting a bit worry should I get worry? Should I go get it checked now or? The breasts looks fine, scars too, nothing suspicious is just that have been 4 weeks and still not increase feeling in my right breast...how long this could take till I will have normal breast touch feeling? I've read about nerve damage and total nerve damage I hope its not that... ? Please help me with some opinions. Thank you
Hi, I had breast augmentation 6 months ago. I was AA and somehow end up having 425 cc silicon Gel implants. I have mild pain on upper side of left breast. It leads to shoulder ache. I have frozen shoulder since the operation. I visited my doctor but he was helpless. I went to another doctor and I was told my nerves got injured and removing silicon may not make me feel better. If removing the silicon won't help my pain, where should I go? Will physio therapy help for damaged pain after removal?
I am 2 weeks post op and I am also 59 170. I have 375 cc implants under the muscle (which look way bigger on me) but I have had the shocking pain through my nipples. Mostly on my left side. I knew that it would be some pain but it feels like a burning sensation rushing through my nipple every time I sit or move the slightest. I Called for a refill of pain medication because it hurts that much. Massaging helps a little, Is this normal? Do you think that it may be nerve damage? Please help
I had my breast done in October of 2015. Due to unevenness, a larger implant was placed in my left breast. Since surgery I've had numbness and loss of sensation in the lower half of my left breast. I have assumed that it was nerve damage in the breast due to the large implant. I've realized that the bottom of my left nipple doesn't get hard anymore even though the top does. Could this be from the apparent nerve damage? As I still have a little sensation in the bottom part of the entire breast.
So it's been just over 3 months since I had my breast augmentation via transaxillary incisions and I still have numbness under my right arm maybe 2-3cm away from the incision. Is this normal or have I ended up with nerve damage?
A week after I had a breast augmentation, I noticed when I swing my arm back I get a tingling sensation in my right hand. About 3weeks after, I began having tingling pins and needles in that hand no matter the position. I have had implants removed after 50 days. Now its about 2 and a half months after the onset of symptoms. What is the likelihood a peripheral nerve was damaged. Could this have been due to incorrect positioning of arms. Also my right is hand having burning sensation too.
Hard to describe the pain. Constant allover breast burning (not nipple) (inframam incis 400 silicone undr mus). Also feels like I need to hold breast up. No redness, swelling, etc. I had fingertip numbness on that side for few weeks after. So at 3 months post can it still be nerve regen?
