Hello! I'm having implants done in June. I am getting the soft feel silicone in either 500 or 550 cc. I am 5'8 and weigh 155lbs. I have a long torso and broad shoulders. Currently am a 36 a/b. Praying I've chose a size good for me! My main question today is, how do I know what size compression bra to purchase for post surgery? I want to have a couple on hand but have no idea what style or size to get!! Please help?! Thanks!!
I provided these pictures to my surgeon who told me my gap is now closed. To me, I still have a 1 finger gap at least. He advised to stop massaging and to stop wearing my compression/sports bra. I need a 2nd opinion. Does it look like I may have symmastia? I am worried if I stop massaging, I may develop capsular contracture later on. ( I was told I needed to massage for 4-6 months at least) If I cant wear a sports bra, is it ok to wear a wireless bra or better to go braless altogether? Thanks!
I'm 4 weeks post op, 365cc under the muscle. I love my results but I'm worried that I have double bubble in the left breast and it has dropped too low. I wore a compression band for 2 weeks post op on instruction from my surgeon. Still in sports bras. What shall I do?
I am 3 days post op and still wearing my compression band, seems that they feel more tight and hurt more when I'm wearing it. Started doing my massages 1 day after surgery per my surgeons instructions, was wondering how long I need to wear it, and if I need to wear it over night. Making ot very hard to get comfortable when wearing it over night
My right breast has completely dropped but my left is still sitting very high and is very firm. I have 470 L/490 R saline sub muscular. My doctor prescribed me montelukast at my 6 week appt which Ive been taking 10mg twice a day for about a week now. Ive been wearing a compression band as well throughout most of the day. My doctor said my capsule was still opened at my last appt. Should I be worried? If so, what else can I do to prevent it from getting worse?
BA 15 days ago, cohesive silicone. Dr instructed me to wear compression bra for 30 days post. As the swelling has decreased it appears the constant compression is causing the implant to take on a triangular shape, with a flat outer edge and round inner, as well as pulling the nipples outward. Should I reduce use of the compression bra, or will the implant be able to round out after the 30 days?
It hurts so much I struggle to breathe when walking. It's been giving me marks! I also have to wear a tight band above to push the implants down. How long do I have to wear this everyday, and do I really have to wear this or can I just wear a sports bra?
I am almost four months post-op. I had 400cc silicone implants placed sub-muscularly. My right implant dropped within the first few weeks, but the left hasn't moved much. I wore a bandeau for the first several weeks, massaged and have been laying on the floor, placing weight on the implant to help keep the capsule open, but it isn't moving down. It feels soft, but I can't really move the implant around. Will it drop more? Is there anything I should be doing to help it drop?
I am 3 weeks post op for under the muscle BA, 295 cc silicone implants. I have been wearing the compression bras provided by my doctor but he has now advised me I can switch to a soft cup bra with no underwire if I choose. Just wanted to check what is the usual amount of time to stop wearing the compression bra as most of what I have read says to wear it for much longer than 3 weeks?
