In 2007, when I was 16, I had a breast reduction going from a DDD cup to Large C/D. Although I was very happy with the relief that came with baring less weight on my back and shoulders, ultimately I regret my decision. I do like the shape of my breasts, but I feel as though too much may have been removed, as they lack volume on the top and I can actually pull loose skin away from my breasts. In addition to that, the scar I was left with from the anchor incision is on the bottom of my breast
I had a lift/internal bra and augmentation a little over 1.5 years ago. In the last year, I've started having neck and shoulder spasms, and over the last few months, I've noticed increasing tenderness and pain in the scars under my breasts. I'm definitely having regret about the size I got- I think I let myself get pressured into a size or two larger than I really wanted. (I went from a post-baby deflated C to a DD.) Could my pain be due to the implant size? Or something else?
Saline implants for 13 yrs, ruptured and had to have the replacement done 5 yrs ago, went with silicone. I thought I had a rupture, the same breast, went to my surgeon-he didnt believe it was. Since, Ive been constantly ill, fatigued, lost 40 lbs, no appetite, hair loss, joint and back pain, nausea, night sweats. I ended up last Nov in the ER w sepsis and a WBC of 42k. No source was discovered. Had every test done and cant find a thing wrong. Im on meds galore. Could this be the cause? Solutions?
I have breast implants a week and half ago. My back was hurting tremendously and my husband was trying to help stretch and he pulled my arms too far back. I felt immediate severe pain on the inside in between both breasts like something was tearing. Since I have been in quite a bit of pain in both breasts and in my ribs all the way around. I have no bruises and some swelling. They both appear to have shrunk quite a bit and dropped. Have I damaged something in the pocket or stretched it to far?
I'm 5'7, 116 pounds and currently have a 34 A/B cup. I read online that one way to find out how big I should go was the birdseed-in-a-nylon route. After doing cup to cc conversion it came out to around 400cc's. The problem is, wearing the birdseed around got my neck and shoulder's quite sore. I'm worried that it will be the same with implants. Has anyone else complained of back/neck pain after implants?
About 2 1/2 years ago I started developing neck, shoulder and upper back pain. I been to a physical therapy, chiropractor and had injections. I'm now concerned that my problem may be my breast implants. I've had gel implants since 2007. I'm fairly small boned and my bra size is a 32D. Is it possible that my implants could be the source of my shoulder and upper back pain?
I have been having neck, upper back pain, predominantly to my left side ever since I had my BA. I am one month post op. Just curious if muscle relaxant such as Flexiril, Robaxin will not only help with the muscle pain but also speed the implants drop and fluff process! My implants are still riding high and they are submascular. 360 and 390 cc saline. I am beginning to think BA is not a good idea for some one who is impatient like me!! Thank you
I'm 47 years old with EDS type 3, Scheuermann's Kyphosis and profound back pain. I have a 75 degree kyphotic curve with the apex at T6-7. I recently lost 55 lbs (BMI=29 now) after gastric bypass. My breasts have always sagged profoundly, even as a teen. Current bra size is 38DDD and my breasts feel like they pull my whole chest down worsening the kyphosis. Do I have tuberous breast deformity? Would breast reconstruction/reduction help my back pain? Would insurance cover this procedure?
