I had saline implants 25 years ago. I love them, they look and feel natural. I have not had a single issue with them. I am constantly worried the implant are old and going to rupture any day. I cant remember who my doctor was, hes probably retired anyway. I am dreading getting new implants! Mine look so perfect and Im so happy with them, what if I dont have the same successful results now that my body is 25 years older. How long do saline implants last?
My breast implants are 24 years old. I know they are saline but that is all I can remember about the procedure. My left breast has deflated or ruptured. Anyway, it is half the size of the other. I want them out of my body. How long can I go before getting them removed without complication? Does every plastic surgeon do this kind of removal?
I have had silicone breast implants for 24 years and have always loved them and have never had a problem with them. Now, 24 years later, the left breast it becoming firm and sore. Due to the age of the implants, is it safe to assume it may be due to a rupture? I plan on having both replaced and I'm wondering about my odds of developing this again in the near future. Since I had no issues with my current implants until now, I'm thinking the odds are in my favor for good results with the replacements.
I've had implants for more than 25years. I was told by a radiologist during mammogram that they should be replaced after 10years. Now on a fixed income and cannot afford replacements. Am I safe? Is there anywhere I can go to have them replaced - like some kind of clinical trial?
