Is pec flex deformity the only consequence to not having the pec muscle repaired after explant or can there be other problems with the muscle? I had my implants removed 7 yeara ago but recently have pain near the fold that feels muscular as well as burning pain. Can sagging from age make the muscle compromised or burny?
I removed my breast implants 1 year ago after only 10 days because of regret. I now feel that my breasts have healed except for some muscle flex issues. When I do push ups or flex my breast muscles they move a bit upwards and It feels like theyre pulled and I feel it in my nipples too. I have seen my surgeon and he said he has never experienced this before. I really just want other opinions. An answer. Could this be fixed? Or would it be best to not do anything? Could it go away after a while?
Planning my ex-plant, I have saline implants, under muscle for 24 years. I was fine for the first 13 years but then had them replaced and began developing strange autoimmune-like symptoms 6 months later after my replacement. Been very sick the last 9 years with no diagnosis, thinking I have BII. I'm trying to figure out if I should add a lift or not. When I flex the right side has some sort of deformity with lumpy looking tissue. Is this normal and can it be fixed with a lift? Or what can be done
I have a bubble that forms above my left breast when I flex my chest muscles. What can I do to have it fixed? Can you do anything naturally or is surgery needed? Does Medicare or Medicare Advantage in MI cover any procedures to fix it?
I had my implants removed in July after just 6 months. I made a huge mistake and realised immediately they werent for me. My implants were under the muscle and Ive been left with muscle distortion. Im from Australia and some surgeons have said the muscle can be repaired others have said its impossible to repair. Id just really like an honest answer if theres a way to correct it. I had some fat grafting done at the time of implants so one breast looks like it has double bubble.
I recently met with my PS who recommended revision to correct lateral displacement and muscle animation. He suggested another lift and moving the implants over the muscle. I currently have 195cc and 210 cc moderate profile for 1.5 years. Im worried about more rippling over the muscle and I would prefer to have them removed. Will I still have muscle deformity after explanation? Should the capsule be removed? Can my areolas be reduced? Id prefer to do this under local.
Initially had tuberous breast correction with lowering of IMF and circumareolar lift. Implants were placed dual plane but removed (en bloc) due to severe cc. I have since had the muscle repaired with strattice ADM with fat grafting to fill in dents. I was left with a ton of scar tissue and adhesions. My breasts look ok when Im not flexing, but when I engage my pec muscles, the lower pole of my breasts pull up. I am an active person and this animation is preventing me from wearing normal clothes or feeling comfortable with partners. What can be done at this point?
I am thinking of getting an explant. I have saline implants under the muscle that are 575/550 ccs. I'm back into fitness and really scared of the muscle deformity I have heard about. Is it standard procedure to suture the muscle back to the chest wall after explant even if no capsules will be removed? I'm not worried about droopy breast I'm more worried about my muscle performance. I know when I lift I don't have any issues so will it stay the same after surgery if the surgeon doesn't reattach?
I had my first implants through the areola and removed last year through the same incision. They turned out deformed. The muscle flex deformity i guess... see my pics. They healed a bit but never looks normal. I lost the lower breast pole. Now I have had implants for 5 days and getting them back out next week. I hate them. Should getting them removed through the inframammary fold help prevent the flex deformity? or what can i do to prevent?
