6 months ago I had 20-yr old large implants removed and a lift. I noticed my skin stretching slightly off of my sternum after getting the original implants but since they have been removed, its obviously much. I am a bit surprised that my surgeon didnt address this recently during the X plant and lift. She did mention things like dermal matrixes, or the only way to fix it would be new implants, but seems reluctant to address it. I need a second opinion but not sure where to start.
I had my 325cc silicon subglandular implants removed about 6 months ago. This was my second set of implants and I hated them both times. The first were 450cc submuscular saline. Getting breast implants is my greatest regret in life and I feel it has ruined my chest. The PS that removed them doesn't recommend fat transfer. This process/outcome has left me so distraught that I went for a consult to have a flat-closure mastectomy. Is reimplant the only way to fix my disfigured chest?
Had breast implants the 1st time in 1988. May of 2013 had implants removed due to rupture and new implants put in. October 15th had left breast redone because it was hard and too high on my chest. November 6th went back to the doctor because breast had a pin hole and fluid was squirting out in a stream. Then another hole started and now the 2 holes merged into 1 and the implant is BLACK. The doctor has stated that the implant needs to come out. I am scheduled for surgery November 11th 2013.
Implants for 4 months and then had them removed. It has been 6 months and I have animation deformity. My PS said he reattached the muscle but from his notes it looks like he just put a couple of sutures in. What are my options for muscle repair and how successful does it tend to be? Are there significant risks with muscle reattachment?
I had my implants removed almost 6 months ago due to infection and always had a small amount of pain, over the past two weeks I have noticed a hard lump in my right breast above my nipple, right breast is still sore, left breast no lumps, I'm wondering if this could be scar tissue ? I don't want to panic just yet and live in a remote area, so I'm not able to get to a plastic surgeon
Hi, can someone develop Mondor's cord six months after a breast surgery? I had a breast implant removal and breast lift on 3/22/16 free of any complications, and recently I was involved in a car accident on 10/7/16. My chest was struck against the steering wheel and two weeks after I noticed the cords under my left breast. Could this be due to my surgery or to the car accident? I am sorry I couldn't figure out how to rotate the picture on this site. Thanks
I explanted my Mem double lumen ( full capsulotomy) and still have burning sensation & I get electrical shock pains down into my toe and often in my breast and especially behind my knee. The burning sensation has decreased about 80 percent since the rupture, I m still having issues on the whole right side. When I saw my P.S for my 4 month checkup he said he didn't know why I would have any burning at all... with no answers. Anyone have any answers to why I would still have these symptoms? Thanks
