I recently had a fat transfer breast augmentation to correct issues from a previous reduction. I love my new surgeon, however, his post-op activity guidelines seem different from what I'm seeing recommended here. Wondering what limitations are recommended after a fat transfer to ensure the best fat retention and shape? Specifically when can I get back to sleeping on my stomach, playing volleyball, wearing underwire and push-up bras, yoga, lifting weights, and other strenuous workouts?
I am a big fan of it, was going 5 times a week pre-op. For those of you who knows Hot Yoga, I am talking about the advanced classes. Lot's of downward facing dog, push ups, plank... From what I realize, we use the arms and upper body a lot... Sometimes we keep a position for few minutes and most of our weight is distribute between upper and lower body.Mostly upper in some positions. So my question is, can I start hot yoga in 5 weeks? If it's to soon, when is it officially OK to start full force?
I am quite advanced in my yoga practice (headstands, arm balances, handstands, etc) and I am itching to get back into it. I am one week post op now, I'm just wondering when I will be able to go back to doing my regular yoga routine?
During yoga I felt a severe burning pain. Since then I have had extreme pain on my lateral and lower side of my left breast I had implants about a year-and-a-half ago. Did I tear my capsule? And will it heal on its own? . . (Before the pain at yoga I had a bulge on my lateral left side. Since then the Bulge is gone.) . My plastic surgeon said it was similar to a 'hernia'
I am an athletic woman who does yoga & Pilates 4-5 days/week where my pectoral muscles are fully engaged. I have large pectoral muscles, & I have read where MANY athletic women have experienced SEVERE pain after a breast augmentation b/c their pectoral muscles are larger. (As opposed to women who are not in shape have experienced very mild to moderate pain.) Also I have read athletic womens breasts have taken longer to drop & fluff b/c of their pectoral muscles after surgery??
I am Almost 5 weeks post op breast augmentation and I am trying to find information regarding FAR Infrared Sauna after BA surgery. So far I couldn't find any clear answer if it is safe or not. It is that same type of heat that being used in our Hot power yoga studio. I know it's to early for me to go back to yoga so I thought maybe I will be able to use Far Infrared sauna. Thank you for your time.
I am a week from being 2 months post-op & my implants were placed under the muscle. I have been practicing hot yoga for about a week (stopped now though) due to feeling sore mainly in my left breast. I slightly kind of have the 'pins & needle' feeling all over again. In further detail, I do have scoliosis so yoga has been a part of my daily life even before getting implants so the poses were not all new to me. I, however, have not pushed myself to do anything I couldn't. Is this normal?
The lower pole of my breasts have an indent in them. It seems as if my breasts are hanging off my implant. Also, my breasts indent a lot more when I flex my pec , it's embarrassing. Is this normal? What is the process if fixing the bottoming out, surgically speaking. I am a fitness instructor so how long until I can do yoga?
