Hello, I've read that seeing unsightly veins on the surface of the breast is quite common post breast-augmentation when there is minimal natural tissue coverage. Personally, I know one of my colleagues who had this issue after getting implants, even though she went with a smaller implant. She just had nearly no tissue. How are such cosmetic issues post-augmentation resolved? Is sclerotherapy for the breasts the best option or what would plastic surgeons recommend? Thank you
Will a plastic surgeon do a piccline if needed if the patient has bad veins? I plan on going for an augmentation but Im 4 years sober from heroin addiction and I have lots of scar tissue. A phlebotomist or doctor can never seem to hit a vein and I always need a piccline
I have an extremely prominent vein that encircled the entirety of my left areola. Its a very large vein, and its just about the only vein on my body which is extremely noticeable. I want a breast augmentation, I dont want to increase my size, I just want to have them shaped to be more round and perky. But Ive always been curious if this vein would get in the way? Its difficult to photograph, but to the human eye, you can see its prominence.
I had allergic reaction after and was treated with prednisone after. Now I am getting pain under my left breast . It fills like a vain or muscle from inside. ??? Should I be worried what can I do ??? My breast looks great. Had surgery done around the nipple.
I am a 24 yr old female. Recently diagnosed with PCS. In the past two months I've had tenderness in both calves and hot spots there and on top of feet as well. I'm wondering if this is a vein problem possibly related to PCS? I have a breast augmentation scheduled a month from now. I am also worried about risks caused by PCS for this surgery. I.E- clots and embolisms, due to paralysis caused by anesthesia during surgery. Thinking of blood pooling to the pelvic area and that being an issue.
6 months after my BA surgery I found out I was pregnant. Since weaning after 1 yr, I've noticed that my left boob has less volume underneath and along my incision feels bubbly. When I run my finger along the inner corner, it feels like a raised vein (squishy). I suspect this is scar tissue? I'm incredibly discouraged as I do plan on having another child. What are my options in improving this? Will it continue to get worse? Will a revision fix it or will it just make for more scar tissue?
23, 5'6, 115lbs. I was a small B before my augmentation 6/14/13. I know its soon, and my results are gr8, but I am set on a removal. I miss my old body and I do not need bigger boobs to fix my self esteem. I was did not have this many veins pre-op (photo), but after augmentation I have a lot of noticeable veins. They are much more evident in real life than in this picture I provided, but you can definitely see the vein through my areola. If I explant will my breasts be less veiny like before?
