Getting a breast augmentation surgery soon. And the surgeon states I cant take any ibuprofen before or after surgery only Tylenol. But doing some research i saw that research shows ibuprofen doesn't cause a bleeding risk. I had 2 ACL repair surgeis and with both surgeries the strong narcotics didn't help with pain just put me to sleep. But when I started taking the ibuprofen the pain became more manageable. Want to know if I can alternate ibuprofen and the narcotic after my breast augmentation?
I havent felt any pain at all and the little pain Ive had Id just take one ibuprofen pill per day. I am not big on pills and believe that if theyre not necessary I shouldnt take them, but Im wondering if by not taking the muscle relaxant pill will it affect me bad during my recovery?
It seems like I have more pain from the adhesive. Its been 3 weeks since my surgery? And I also have a dark blue vein that has been very painful in my breast for about 5 days. I am taking ibuprofen over the counter. Thanks
I'm having surgery in 12 days (BA and Otoplasty- 3 hrs of surgery). I was told to avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, & other blood thinning meds at least 14 days before surgery. I'm trying to get over my cold also, so have been also taking Emergen-C & turmeric 2x/day. I just read online that tumeric should be avoided at least 14 days prior to surgery as well. I just took it last night, and surgery is in 12 days. Do I need to reschedule my surgery, or am I close enough that I'll be okay?
I had my Breast Augmentation surgery 3 weeks ago. Recently I am feeling unwell because of some allergy, cold and flu, menstrual and breast pain (all at the same time!) Can I take any medication to relieve the symptoms? or are there some medications that I shouldn't take yet? (like Ibuprofen and aspirin). When can I resume taking my multivitamins? Is there a supplement that could help me to heal faster? Thank you very much, Best regards, Martha Zambrano.
Hello, I'm 10 days away from my breast augmentation surgery and I need to take ibuprofen (have very bad menstrual cramps) for three days... Is this ok? If I stop 7 days prior to my surgery will I still be at risk from taking an anti inflammatory so soon before?
At the age of 37 I had 3 cardiac drug eluting stents placed. Now at the age of 45 I would like to have 325cc breast implants placed. My cardiologist has said yes to come off plavix 1week before surgery but I have to stay on 81 mg of aspirin. I am waiting to hear back from plastic surgeon if he will do the surgery on the aspirin. What do you think. To risky? Would drains help prevent a hematoma?
