I know there are a number of factors that can cause bottoming out, but in my research of women with smaller implants (under 275 and high profile/narrow) I seem to have come across A LOT of women who ended up bottoming out. I wondered if it may be because it would be more likely to over dissect pockets since the implant is small, which may be a part of the reason I keep coming across this? Im getting 250cc HP and am alarmed by the number of woman who bottomed out with this size or smaller.
I have read that by 6-8 weeks post op it is okay to scuba dive. However, my surgeon suggested to me 6 months. When I asked why, he said because I had tubular breasts and the implants haven't 'bottomed out' yet, that there is more risk of swelling if I scuba dive as it is a high impact sport. He had earlier said contact sports at 8 weeks was fine. I am currently 4 weeks post op and want to scuba dive at 10 weeks post op. He said it wouldn't cause permanent damage but maybe just cause swelling. Any answers?
My plastic surgeon says nothing is wrong and blames it on my breast tissue. I had my procedure done February 2023. They have looked weird ever since I came home the first day. I just feel like my plastic surgeon is not taking accountability. He has done many other procedures and they don't look like this, but mine does so I'm trying to figure out why mine looks awful. At this point, I think I just need to see a different plastic surgeon to fix them.
Hello, I am 11 months post-op and I have noticed that my implants have bottomed out. What will happen if this is not fixed with a revision? Also, can I prevent the implant from dropping any lower by wearing a supportive bra?
i had a reduction, lift and implants in january 2023. Ive had 3 children and was left with empty 34D. My surgeon suggested 375cc in both breast with reduction and implants. i wanted a fuller upper pole as it was very deflated. i went with high profile. since the beginning ive been concerned but my surgeon and nurses said they would round in time but im over 7month and i think they are just getting worse.
I had breast aug 6 mo ago. 395 on the left and 415 on the right. I always felt like the right side looked a tad larger despite the small cc difference. At about 2 mo post ofthey did look great though. Suddenly in the last 2 weeks the right breast has had major rippling I can feel clearly and now see, not to mention significant dropping making the right seem saggy and SO much larger than the left! I have an appt with my surgeon but am devestated at whatever is happening.
