I had ATG treatment and have finished my immunosuppressants. I was wondering if I could still get a BA or would it be likely I get breast implant illness? The doctors think I got the disease after contracting a virus and my body then also attacking my bone marrow- which went down to 5-10% working capacity. (It is fully better now) I will also speak to my doctor about it but was just wondering from a plastic surgeon side what you think. Thank you so much in advance!
I was recently diagnosed with severe anemia (my HB levels read 88). I am currently taking over the counter iron tablets and adjusting my diet until I can meet with my GP. Could you please advise all the risks you can think of for an individual like myself undergoing a breast augmentation? I do not really eat red meat or consume foods high in iron as much as I should. I am 5 ft 2 and weigh around 60-63 kg.
I am post-op 5 days and i develop new symptoms of swelling, pain, feeling there is liquid moving underneath my skin near the incision area. Also a sudden feeling of unwell, fever, weak. On day 6, i monitor that the swelling is double size (in the picture). Day 7, my doctor asked me to do blood check and results seems there is no infection (picture attached) but i have a sudden anemia. Do you think i have Seroma based on my symptoms? Or other case? Is it the cause of my anemia? What should i do?
Hello! So I have been wanting a breast augmentation for a while now and I am at the researching phase of this journey. So a few months ago I got lip injections and my injector told me how i bleed so much and how she usually never has patients who bleed this much during lip injections. Since I am known to bleed a lot, does this put me at risk for capsular contracture? And what is the percentage of people getting it now? I have also been anemic and known to bruise very easily. Thank you!
I checked my hemoglobin level last week and it was at 10.7 I have breast augmentation scheduled in 3 weeks with doctor Mel Ortega. I am taking iron pill and multivitamin as well as a Spinach and protein diet. What are the odds that I'll have to reschedule ? I've always been anemic due to heavy menstrual so 10.7 was actually great to me. I was always at about 7-8. -Mom of 3
