Hi yall. Im a type 1 diabetic (20+ years) with hashimotos and lupus. I understand that Im not exactly ideal, but, my body has caused me much mental anguish for the past 10 years. I have extremely wide shoulders, wide rib cage and narrow hips. Im also 511 and 196 lbs. I have multiple back rolls and bra fat that wont go away no matter the diets/exercise.
So I have lupus and hashimotos disease. Due to the hashimotos slowing down my metabolism, Ive gained almost 50lbs more than my regular weight. I decided I want to get lipo, I cant stand my body, however I was talking with friends who have lipo and they said fat transfers dont work with lupus, that out bodies will absorb the fat? I have a cousultation in 10 days but I wanted other opionins, its an extra $6000 so before I commit I want to get some expertise.
I have had Lupus since I was 8 years old and I am 29 now. My Lupus has been pretty stable but I did have a kidney transplant 14 months ago. Im looking to undergo this surgery in 2022 and thinking about travelling for the surgery. Any surgeons here have any experience operating on patients with my medical situation? I am a lil nervous to travel but I know a lot of people who have travelled with amazing results. I cant seem to find the results im looking for here in Canada.
I currently have underlying medical issues and have been trying to do research on what is the best option for getting a flat stomach and bigger butt. Working out has not worked. I had a kidney transplant 7yr ago. I also have lupus, high blood pressure and diabetes. I would like the most effective but safest way to achieve a better body.
I have been to a dermatologist and rheumatologist and, they confirmed it is not systematic that it is only limited to my skin. I really want to transform my body I want to know would this hinder me from having this procedure? I spoke with a patient coordinator at new life and told me due to Lupus she didn't feel like I would benefit from this surgery. This is very sad seeing how I'm not on any meds it's controlled and hasn't affected my body in anyway
I was diagnosed with lupus 2 yrs ago & It doesn't affect any organs. I'm currently taking plaquenil, Azathioprine, Benlysta, & prednisone (7.5mg & tapering until I get to zero) My WBC is 2.5 & flunctuates. I naturally lost 120lbs but since being diagnosed I have gained back 40 due to the steroids. I plan on losing the 40 and getting a bbl and mommy makeover. Is this possible? Would I have to adjust medications to be able to? What blood results would disqualify me?
I am really interested in having a bbl, and want to know what risks I have with scleroderma? Most questions are regarding lupus, which is similar. I had this disease since I was a child, and was diagnosis 3 years ago through bloodwork. Never been sick or in the hospital. All my lab work is perfect and organs(no scarring), I have no symptoms at all, and I am not on any medication. Is there any doctor that had performed this procedure with a patient with the same disease or have any recommendations?
