I decided to get hyaluronic acid fillers in my butt (did not want anything permanent) but unfortunately got an infection and now have a nice scar on one cheek. I do want to get a BBL but Im scared any doctor will turn me away. Ive got discoloration from the inflammation as well. Should I try and get it dissolved? Is it even possible to get a BBL to reconstruct my butt?
I was told this dent was inflammation and due to my drain cord being wrapped around my body and would even out with compression and fluid drainage. However, the dent doesn't look like inflammation to me...I thought inflammation was swelling and would get big not flat....Please advise.
Im 2 weeks post op. I had a tummy tuck with lipo back and flanks along with a brazilian butt lift. I have no pain to my stomach or lipo areas. But my left buttocks is alot more painful, swollen and hot compared to the right. Im doing ibuprofen and soma. It doesnt seem to provide enough relief. My surgeon said its normal, and i have asymmetrical swelling which will heal. I'm so miserable and the pain is just getting to me. What else can i do? Do i need a 2nd opinion?
I had lipo with BBL on 10/19, so I am post -op day #11. I have had issues with seromas and inflammation, mostly to my suprapubic region and lower abdomen. I feel that the compression is not enough. I have bought a waist cincher, which the doctor's assistant suggested and it works, but I can not wear it for long periods of time because of the tightness/soreness. Do you recommend spanx with butt-lifter, waist cincher, or a tighter post-surgical compression garment with use of lipo foam and boards?
I usually hear people saying they lose volume at 3 weeks, so I'm nervous if I lose a lot more than this. But I have lost a lot of inflammation all over my body (my body is healing fast I guess) I have barely to none inflammation on my back and just some on my waist and stomach. Could it be that I just lost inflammation quicker than most people or will I be losing more volume as time passes ?
I'm hoping to get some doctors opinions on if this hump on my BBL looks like swelling/inflammation and will possibly go away. Right now I'm not too happy with the shape of my butt. My butt was already big but fat was added to make it more round. I tried to contact my surgeon to ask about this but was only able to talk to coordinators in the post op department. She of course said wait 6 months and they couldn't tell if it was inflammation or not but I should start massaging it.
I'm 6 wks post op and experience constant pain, stiffness, swelling and burning. I know everyone is different when it comes to healing, but every patient that had lipo/bbl same day as me with my surgeon is healing 5x's my speed. My lower back, stomach, and waist are killing me. I've already had 12 MLD massages and they didn't benefit me. I was reading that cryotherapy can help with inflammation. Is that true? Will it mess up my results? If this is not a recommended option then what is?

I am a plastic surgery Virgini and I had airbrush lipo where we took it out of abs and flanks and put it into hips and butt . ( late 40's - 129 lbs , was looking for contouring . Since the procedure I have had a fever (5days) . Butt feels red and hot and dr says I'm sensitive - thid is inflammation . I understand now how major this is and saying minimal downtime with airbrush lipo sounds Like a myth .please help - still taking cephalexin and pain meds ( replaced them with Advil and Tylenol) .
