Ive been wanting a fat transfer for as long as I can remember now. Im 21 I have a BMI of 19. I take medication once a week (methotrexate, folic acid) Also I am on birth control I want to know if I would be able to do this surgery and what can I do to avoid infections and complications? This surgery is a risk I am more than willing to take.
I'm a 25 y/o woman and was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease over a year ago. I was on medication but stopped taking it shortly after because I no longer felt pain in my joints. I'm not on any medication and I feel fine, also other than having MCTD I am healthy. I'm debating getting a BBL, but to make a decision I'd like to know if it is safe for me to get one. I inquired two places about getting this procedure, one doctor turned me down due to my condition but the other one didn't.
I am 40 years old. I was told I have RA due to positive RF, no swelling of my joints, no signs on X rays.. I do struggle with inflammation in general, pain in my back, hips, and I get my hands and feets injected due to trigger finger and Hallux rigidus.. supposedly both things are complications of RA. I am 5'3, weight 177lbs, my BMI is 31, and I have an apple shape body. My mayor problem is my hip dips and belly. I'd like a more hourglass shape. Is it safe to have this procedure?
I want a BBL, but was recently denied by a plastic surgeon in Miami. I am very healthy, but I do have an autoimmune disease name Scleroderma which is very similar to lupus. It causes chronic hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues, but I do not have the hardening to the connective tissue at all. I am 52, 145lbs, not on medication (never been), do not smoke or drink, and never been hospitalized. My rheumatologist said I could have the surgery. So I am curious?
I am very interested in getting a bbl, but I would prefer to do the procedure in the hospital. Although I am a healthy 28 year old, I do have a autoimmune disease that doesnt require me any medication use or frequent hospital visit. I have researched and consulted with other drs, but most of their surgeries take place in a ambulatory accredited surgery center. Any doctors still use hospitals?
Hi, I am interested in having a fat transfer to my back side but I'm hesitant because I have an immune disorder... I haven't had a flare in a few months and I seem to be in a period of remission. Would I still be considered a good candidate if I am still healthy overall?
