I have been through a terribly long process to get a tooth implant on a lateral incisor for the past two years. I have worn a flipper for 4 years, since getting my braces off. (my teeth are straight) However, the implant failed, & my periodontist would like more room to work. no member on my dental team can seem to have an estimation on how long I may need these braces on to make the correction? I'm stressing out as I go to college next fall... Would love any opinions! Thanks!
Need help I have a dental implant (top row front left tooth) and a missing K9 (top row left side) also I want braces to correct my teeth cross bite /under bite but my biggest concern is having to be toothless once braces are put on my teeth being the implant is placed incorrect I was told it would have to be removed is it possible I can wear flipper with braces
I am a 17 year old female. I have been wearing a flipper for about 5 years now due to an accident that knocked my teeth out. I was wondering if it is possible to straighten my teeth before implants without having to walk around toothless? I really hate my smile and having to wear this flipper. I would do anything to straighten them out before implants because I know that it's harder to do so afterwards. What's the best option in my case? And how long would it take to straighten my smile?
