I just turned 30 and I always told myself that once I reached 30 I wanted to start doing preventative Botox. I am planning to get 30 units tomorrow and the units are going to cover my forehead and crows feet area. What side effects should I look out for? Is there any long term affects I should be concerned about?
When I smile, one side of my face feels extremely tight and my cheek has sunken in on this side. Underneath the eye scrunches and wrinkles. The smile line has also disappeared on this side and my smile is still weird. My face was perfect and symmetrical before this Im gutted.
I had botox applied to my forehead, around my eyes and masseters 6 months ago. However, my eyes and looks have changed and still haven't returned to their previous state. I can't understand what's going on. Will this last forever? I'm 24. My psychology is broken. Below is the before botox photo. Above photo after botox
So I'm currently thinking about getting masseter botox. I grind my teeth a lot at night and use nightguards. I have always had pretty wide face. I Have defined jawline and very wide cheekbones. Also a large head. I do have pretty hollow cheeks and if my face gets puffy they are pretty much gone and i look terrible. My temples are pretty wide aswell from bruxism. Can I get botox to slimmer my temples? Can masseter botox slimmer my midface a little also? Does it make my cheeks look bigger? Help!
Botox every 3-4 months for 8 years. On 12/1/23 had 38 units between crows 11 and forehead. Went back 7 weeks later and had 30 more units. Now I have cheek drop on both sides. cheek bone area is so flat and chipmunk when I smile (cheek is by nasolabial fold and not lifting). Derm confirmed it affected zygomaticus. Since I did the double dose within 7 weeks is my timeline for it to fade still 3-4 months? It's been 6.5 weeks and is not any better. Please advise! I'm panicked!
Hi! Unfortunately after trying differents Dr/providers on Botox, Jeuveau & Xeomin on my 11 lines & around my eyes went from 20/25/30 units on my frown & 10 each on my crows feets They seem never worked , effect never actually kicks in :( Im 47 female & Am I rare case where my body simply reject this type of toxins, is there anything else I can try that give me result? I'm running out of options here. Thanks in advance
I've had really intense jaw pain and headaches for years, but didn't realize how bad it had become until my dentist mentioned it during my last teeth cleaning since she heard my jaw clicking. She recommended a mouth guard, but it hasn't helped with my pain. I was wondering if botox would help with this, and if so, if it is covered by insurance? Additionally, is it something to bring up with a primary care doctor or a dentist? Thank you for any help!
