May 2020 I had Botox to treat crows feet. 6 weeks later I began to experience severe vertigo with nystagmus and balance issues along with facial pain. I didnt associate the two at the time. I saw 5/6 ENT specialists who struggled to locate the cause of the vertigo. I had a second round of Botox in October 2020 while still experiencing some vertigo symptoms. The symptoms worsened with daily vertigo and did not subside until around 6 months after treatment. Could Botox be the cause?
Hi! Ive had Botox for years love my results - recently Ive waited 3 months past the normal time I get Botox bc I have dealt with ongoing vertigo after my BPPV was treated with Epley maneuver - they say its a different kind of vertigo now that can follow that episode and Im getting physical therapy for it - I had been sick a couple weeks back (not COVID) with a virus that caused some fluid in my ear and inflammation which worsened my situation- how long would you wait for Botox? Or no effect?
I had 5 units of Botox for crows feet on each side of my eye. Two days later I was thrown into a horrifying vertigo. I had Transderm scope patches from a cruise in December and slapped one on. I called the specialist/doctor that injected me. She brushed it off and told me it was not from Botox. I had zero issues leading into this and truly feel it was the Botox. I had a vestibular migraine from the injections as well. Will the vertigo settle? Or do I have to live with it for 3 months
I have many friends who got botox several times and didnt get any side effects, so three weeks ago I decided to get botox, four days after that and since then I experienced vertigo, anxiety. I got into the internet and found out that many cases like mine have been reported, I cant believe none of my friends have experienced this vertigo just me, they are so confused because all of us went to the same doctor and everyone is fine and happy except me. What can I do to get rid of vertigo?
Allergan co documented my reaction. first botox injection caused vertigo and dr thought it was coincidence, so i tried it again 6 mos later and the same thing happened. Allergan co got in touch with me and documented the reaction. i was told not to use botox or similar because it could lead to worse problems. what else can be done for the deep 11 lines between eyebrows?
Every few months. My ENT says its not the Botox that I get for crows feet. ENT thinks its allergy problems or Manieres disease. I just started allergy shots but Im due my Botox (6months). Ear seems great for a while now. Not sure if I should get Botox again.
I get botox for migraines & have for years. This time, I'm experiencing vertigo 5 days after injections & extreme light sensitivity. I told the dr I don't like the botox because it pushes my brows down & makes my eyes look older. Injections for migraines are placed in different locations than cosmetic. Anyways, he placed it higher this time, & even tho I understand it could be a coincidence, I feel the vertigo and extreme light sensitivity are both likely from the Botox injections.
used a new clinic for BOTOX in Oct 013 and less then 3-4 minutes after the injections I felt dizzy - heart rate up - and vertigo like symptoms. during the injections i was bleeding and she pressed really hard and it hurt me really bad. I have had none stop vertigo and confusion since and now January 2014. Had an MRI - MS testing and pretty miuch ruled out everything. Reading at Blogs - i am not the only one getting these
