Im 35 and have recently noticed some ffvertical lines forming where my neck meets my chin. I cant tell if this is the beginning of platysma bands showing or loose skin or both. I have lost some weight this year and Im also being treated for TMJ issues which has brought my lower jaw forward somewhat. Im not sure if either of these have affected my neck. Im wondering what this might be and what could be done.
Also my eyebrow is lower and my nose slightly crooked this side (left). Can this be due to a general facial muscle imbalance? Actually all my body is tighter on the left.
43 yr old male - noticed 2 deep vertical lines in my forehead. I did Botox mid July and a touch-up 1 week ago. The doctor is telling me these are sleep lines and have nothing to do with Botox, he insists that the problem is my bad skin elasticity. I am not very convinced because they are deep, wide and feel like a hallow cavity in the skull when you touch it! I am really worried and confused. Appreciate some feedback on what exactly is the problem and the best treatment to fix it!
I have been going to a board Certified good doctor for many years for Botox at the 11 lines on forehead and the sides of the lines. Many many months ago I developed an indent that feels like theres a bump over right eyebrow, two vertical lines over left eye and a bumpy overall appearance of forehead . The doctor said this seems like other muscles compensate for the weaker ones. They persist even after Botox has worn off. I feel as if its permanently altered. What can be done? Would filler help?
I have been having Botox treatments for 4 years now. Originally my nurse suggested more units. Over the years I have noticed my forehead has a massive vertical line in the middle. I have also noticed dents on my forehead. Is this asymmetry permanent and can it be reversed maybe with less units injected in the future. Thank you
I had Botox for the first time in my glabella region yesterday. I am only 25 and don't have wrinkles, just a slight vertical line on my left eyebrow which is somedays more noticeable than others. Why did the doctor only recommend 12 Units? She said alternatively she could do more along brow line (she only did there injections on middle and inner eyebrow corners after viewing progress. Is this normal? I've seen everyone else get 20-25 on here! Thank you.
I had 10 units in upped forhead for vertical lines. It had been 3 years since last botox. I totally forgot the no layers my down thing got eyebrows threaded and then did yoga about 2 hours after injections now I'm scared to death. Called the dr n she said is be fine but nervous she's just saying that since she didn't give me any post care instructions
My side effects are are that I cant enunciate (real effort to talk), my jaw hurts (from overcompensating?), and a new horrible crease above lip/under nose when I smile. Its very unattractive and looks like a second smile. Is there anything I can do to fix it? 2 of the photos below are before - and 2 are after photos
