Hello I had Botox for the first time within the last 3 months on my forehead. Id say within a couple to few weeks after the procedure, when lying on my side, my full forehead starts tingling and feels numb Is this a normal side effect? It still tingles to this day and not sure if I should be worried or not or what this could be. All help appreciated thanks
Hi, I have a regularly scheduled massage for my neck and shoulder pain at my physical therapists office once a month. I realized I am getting Botox the week before my next upcoming appointment. Half of the hour long massage requires lying face down with my forehead resting in the massage table headrest. Will this contact and pressure cause my Botox to migrate or hurt my results? If so what is the recommended wait time between Botox injections and massage. Thanks.
Got Botox 11 days ago. On 5th day starting experiencing intense pressure in my temples, when I lay down the pressure builds in my temples and in the back of my head and feels like my temples are going to explode. What is this? How do I treat it? Im really panicking. 've been taking Advil, it helps take the edge off when Im standing - as soon as I lay down I have no relief and havent slept in over a week.
I had Botox injections 2 days ago. I wasn't given post-care instructions. Immediately after the treatment (half an hour after) I had a massage, where I lay down for 2 hours. My face was NOT massaged. Two days later, I still have bumps (like mosquito bites) in each of the places where Botox was injected into my forehead. I now realize that some doctors recommend their patients not to lie down for 6 hours after. Will this effect go away soon? Did I do something wrong?
I faint when I have injections or blood draws sitting up as I suffer from vasovagal syncope. Can I lay down while I have the Botox injected? I'm nervous if I don't lay down during the injections I will faint and have to lay down after the injections, which could affect it. If I lay down during blood draws and injections I do not faint, so I hope I can do this during Botox. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I was face timing with my friend and accidentally lay down on my bed for one second 2.5 hours after Botox!! Omg!! I jumped right up and my friend thought something happened! I said no I'm fine. I'm worried if this will move the Botox to other areas of my face? It was only for one second and I sat right up again.
Had Botox today in my 11 line and a little in my forehead. Ran errands for about two hours before going home and then worked at my computer from my bed, pillows propped up so I could read, etc. Not fully lying down at all, more like really leaned back, but I started to fall asleep for about 15 minutes, then woke up. I didn't get any post op instructions but now I'm reading that lying down is bad for at least four hours after Botox. Do you think I'm in a safe zone? Thanks for your help.
