I have asked this question multiple times and have just had people tell me to wait the full 6 months. I am 6 months post Botox and still have a terrible brow droop+ little movement+ a completely different eyebrow shape and no eyelids. What do I do? Is there any possibility this wont wear off? Why is this taking so long and when will I ever see improvement? I am unrecognizable to myself.
I am 6 mos out from crows feet & under eye botox w/ swelling & under eye bags when I smile. I went to a cred. dermatology office. Good results from Botox before, this was the first time I had under eye injections. Antihistamines, ice rollers, and lymphatic massage dont help. I took a photo right before injections so Im sure it was the Botox. I was hoping this would resolve when the Botox wore off but no luck. Im scared, is this permanent? What caused this? Is surgery now necessary?
I had Botox for crows feet 6 months ago. After the injections I developed a eye bag under one of my eyes that has yet to go away. I have photos from that morning with no eye bag so I feel certain it was the Botox that caused it. Upon recommendations I have tried various lymphatic drainage options, taking antihistamines, ice rollers, but nothing seems to be working. I was hopeful it would go away after the Botox wore off but no luck. Any thoughts are appreciated!
Hello, the procedure was done January 3rd 2023. After 1 week I noticed that the right side was sagging and my smile uneven. I went back and was told it would return to normal in a few months. Its almost 6 months and nothing has changed. Will this even out with more time?
I am female mid 30s. I had Botox 6 months ago and plan to return this weekend for x3 area - between eyebrows, smile lines and forehead. When I last had Botox on the same day I developed a twitch to my left eye within the hour, which lasted several weeks. Did the Botox cause this? A nurse friend has told me I was lucky I didnt develop ptosis and I am worried this will happen again. Is eye twitching after Botox an indicator of potential ptosis? Or just a side effect of Botox settling?
I had botox to forehead, brows, bunny lines, 20units. She put it very low on my face. Next day my forehead was numb, one side bruised, itchy eye lids swollen. Blurry vision. Forehead eye brows lowered and droopy feels heavy. Im 6 months out from when it happened. my brows still have not went back to normal they are still lowered My eyeslids swell and eyes are blurry some days. Still have numb sensation and itching some days. Still have heavyness. Could this be permanent?
I received masseter Botox for teeth grinding for the first time seven weeks ago. In the following weeks I noticed my smile had become very uneven and frozen. Its been two months and barely any changes. Will I be stuck with this for 6+ months , its disastrous and I am so disappointed in the result.
Hello Doctors please help, I have had masseter Botox in May 2018 and now it has been almost 6 months and my smile is still not back to the way it was, could it be that the muscles or nerves had been damaged during the injection process? What can I do now?
Is it normal for Botox to not have worn off after 6 Months, Im panicking that this is permanent. I can move my forehead its prob back to 80-90% movement as it was before but at the sides of my eyes it just isnt wearing off. My cheeks are still being pushed forward instead of creasing at the sides of my eyes as it did before. Im desperate for it to wear off as I hate it, the clinic who did the Botox said they cant give a timescale for it wearing off, advice would be greatly appreciated.
I had Botox for massater reduction that went horribly wrong about 6 months ago. My smile was lopsided and I couldn't move one side of my cheek area and smile until recently I've been getting a lot of moment back. It is maybe 80 percent moment back to normal but I developed a very noticed dent on my cheek. Once I started to get normal movement back the dent popped up and it looks horrible and really affecting my confidence . Is this temporary? Is it the Botox unevenly dissolving?
