7-Minute Beauty Wonders

I swear there's a market research study somewhere that says the number 7 has magical powers for customers. Think about it--from "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" to Seven Seas Salad Dressings, there's something with that number. So it struck me when a number of beautifiers came to my attention lately with one thing in common: all claim to show results in 7 minutes.
Interestingly enough, there's a book out by Dr. Marisa Weiss, president and founder of breastcancer.org, called "7 Minutes"--because that's apparently the length of today's average doctor visit. Hmm--maybe there's something there--if professional treatment takes 7 minutes, surely it should be the OTC benchmark, right? Regardless, these 4 have adopted the timeframe and if you've got the time (7 minutes, of course) this is what you'll get (according to the companies, of course):
1. Athena Organics Athena 7-Minute Lift
Clinically Proven at one of the Nation's Top Cosmetics Laboratories: "...in seven minutes it significantly reduced the appearance of fine lines and facial wrinkles an average of 83.72% on a full-face evaluation."
Its ultra-light texture provides antioxidant vitamin E to fight against free radicals and environmental pollutants, as well as seal in moisture. Green tea soothes puffiness, aloe smoothes and panthenol refines, leaving the eye area soft, refined and strong in just seven minutes.
Skin-building, lipid-based, facial serums which have thick, transparent fluid consistencies. Rich in ceramides, linoleic acid, retinol. They are moisture boosters...After approximately 5-7 minutes it will soak into your skin leaving it matte and silky.
The treatment plan consists of three consecutive 7 to 12 minute treatments and whitening durations vary greatly from person to person, based on clients color preference. (Note the Infinity Pro Teeth Whitening System is in-office only)
