I had a mini-tuck and implants two years ago. The surgeon did not feel that my skin was loose enough for a regular tummy tuck, so he performed a mini along with J-Plasma. I am not satisfied with the amount of loose skin on my upper stomach and around my belly button, so I tried other in office skin tightening therapies, with limited results. I'm wondering if I am a candidate for an Umbilicoplasty. Will that remove enough lax skin and also reshape my belly button? If not, what are my options?
Im 37 years old and have had 3 full term pregnancies and a few abdominal keyhole surgeries. I would like to improve the appearance of my tummy. I have loose skin and a misshapen tummy button.
I am 5 3 and weigh 103 pounds. Six weeks ago I had a mini-tummy tuck and hernia repair in hopes of removing the excess skin I had from two pregnancies. My plastic surgeon and one other recommended that I get a full tummy tuck to correct the amount of extra skin I had above my belly button, but for personal reasons, I chose to do a mini instead. Although my stomach is very flat and looks much better than it did prior to the mini, I have a small amount of skin that is starting to cover my belly button. The skin covers approximately half my belly button, extends about of an inch when I pull it away from my stomach and measures approximately 2 inches wide. What options do I have to remove some of the skin so that I have a normal looking belly button? Could an umbilicoplasty work?
At age 32 (weighing 112 lbs) I had laser lipo done on my belly. One of the incisions was through my belly button. I am now 38 years old (weight fluctuates between 105-112 lbs) and recently noticed that my skin is pretty loose above the belly button. I've never had children and won't consider a tummy tuck. I just don't want a droopy looking belly button. It's not apparent in the last picture but while laying down, the belly button is slightly raised. Do I have any options?
I have seen a consultant who said I have loose skin above my belly button. I am extremely unhappy and I've always wanted an oval 0 shape belly button. Could I ask for some second opinions please?
I'm 39 years old. Had my 2nd baby 6 months ago (finished having kids). Between the piercing I kept in during my 1st pregnancy and the weight gain/loss, the top part of my belly button is saggy and bothers me. Overall I have no stretch marks, pooch, etc that many people do after kids. I don't want major surgery like a tummy tuck when overall I'm happy. Just want the loose skin fixed. Ideas??
Naval piercing since 16 yrs old. Now 33 w 2 pregnancies. Kept piercing in for both pregnancies. i am pretty skinny 5'4, 115 lbs. you can see that my belly button area has been stretched. Will an umbilicoplasty work in my case? I don't believe I have enough loose skin anywhere else to really constitute a tummy tuck.
I had my girls (yes triplets) over a year ago and have loose skin above my belly button. I've always been very active and still am. Whatever I do will have to be minimally invasive with a shorter recovery time. Stretch marks are not bothersome to me. My abdominal muscles did not separate either so I'm not needing anything corrected internally. Just the loose skin is ugly and needs to go!
