I got fascia from my buttock to raise the bridge and ear cartilage for tip projection. It's been 3 weeks and I satisfy with my height of my tip, but the part between my eyes is too high that make my face looks masculine and unnatural for Asian standard. Will my radix eventually drop or it's going to stay like this?
I just had an open Asian rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago from the Philippines. He is a good surgeon, his works are great. Unfortunately not on my nose. I have now a bridge that is too high and a pointy tip. The surgeon used a goretex on my dorsum and an ear cartilage on my tip- look so unnatural. My surgeon said it's still swollen. I don't feel like myself anymore. I'm embarrassed of how I look like. Not sure how much will it improve. Thinking of a revision: for a nose close to how it looked like before.
I got closed rhinoplasty, silicone to raise the bridge and ear cartilage for tip projection. It's been 2 weeks post-op and it's discouraging to see how high my radix is. My nose is too high and prominent between my eyes. I'm praying that the radix will eventually drop but it seems like all the swelling has resolved in the upper part of my nose between the eyes. I'm convinced that this is what I'm stuck with and I don't like it. My tip is looking super bulbous too... please help!
Had rhino with silicon implant in Korea 1 month ago. The implant made my radix too high. I noticed that the bridge/radix curve for most people begins at the mid-pupillary line but mine begins above my eye. The top of the implant is slightly raised and is noticeably whiter in this area. Could the implant be too large or placed too high? What can be done to lower the radix and have more of a curve/break leading into the bridge? Can the implant be trimmed/customized to better suit the look I want?
had augmentation using ear cartilage+fascia for my nose bridge. its 2 weeks post op now and I think the bridge is too high. I'd like to see 2mm down more for my bridge. The bridge's bruising almost gone and I'm afraid the bridge height is pretty much set. If I wear glasses or put pressure to my bridge post-op, would it be able to decrease the size of my bridge? Also, I'm curious, why can't patients be allowed to wear glasses after asian rhinoplasty (no breaking bones involved)? Please advice. thx!
