Hello I am 1 month post op Asian double eyelid surgery with Ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty. When I got out of the surgery I immediately noticed my left eye was way more lifted up compared to the right side. I brushed it off as swelling, but as I am healing I am noticing my eyes are still very uneven and my left eye doesnt seem to be going down. If this doesnt go down further what can be done to make it even with my right eye?
I got asian double eyelid surgery revision a month ago (to make the crease height higher). I have a thickened scar on the inner corner of my right eye that is currently affecting the shape of my new crease. Im worried that the scar is a keloid and that it will continue to affect the final shape of my eyelid crease. Im currently using scar cream to (hopefully) help flatten the raised scar. Is there anything else I can do? Will my right eyelid continue to be more of an L shape v my left eye?
I did dst and epi almost 1 and half month ago. One of the inner corner of my eye seems longer. One eye have more white area. Furthermore, the smaller eye seem to have higher eyelid tapering. Sometimes i feel like one of my eyeball is higher than the other. Or when the eyeball move, its not proportioned to each other. My eyes werent like this beforr surgery. I know i have to wait for at least 6 months for revision. But i need reassurance. What kind of revision i would need? Thank you
I just did double eyelid suture method 1 month ago & also fat removal. My eyes are a bit of dry type before did the procedure. My eyelid now are getting more natural. But my eyes now becoming easily to have eye discharge especially when waking up and using softlens. I notice that the mucus may come from the upper eyelid. When doing activities the mucus don't produce that much. Sometimes i also feel a bit of burning sensation. Why? How to cure it?
5 weeks ago, I got my double eyelid surgery done, along with upper & lower blepharoplasty. My concern today is my obvious asymmetry in my eyelid crease. (By the way, my eyelids are naturally double lids already but with few lines on them.) Now after the surgery, my right eye's crease incision lines are too high and crooked, which always me feel as if it's pulling my eye up all the time. Also, feels tight & uncomfortable. Very depressed now. Please help & tell me what options to fix my eyelids?
I had ptosis repair 5weeks ago, and after 1 week, I reversed the surgery by removing all the sutures inside my eye. Now, the effect of double eyelid surgery only remains in my eye (also there are thick long wide white hypertrophic scar across my new double eyelid(both eye)) . My problem is, I still have corneal astigmatism(-2, -1.75 both eye). After corneal topography, my ophthalmologist said my upper corneal is pressed by something. I'm really worried.. What should I do?(remove double eyelid?)
What can I do to make crease less deep and more natural looking. Massage? Warm pack? Crease is 8mm from the lash line. Did the doctor make too tight of a connection to the levator?
Will shutting eyes too hard in a yawn or a sneeze cause any damage to a double eyelid suture (non-incisional method) one month into the recovery? When I furrow my brow and close my eyes tightly there is a faint stinging sensation which I presume is from the double eyelid folds squeezing against each other. Is closing eyes tightly something to avoid at this juncture?
