I was referred to Dr Massry for a lower blepharoplasty by my dermatologist Dr Alan Rosenbach. Dr Rosenbach asked me why I would want anyone else to do the surgery when I could have the physician who does the research and teaches the technique. I then contacted Dr Massry's office and set up a Zoom to meet with him. He was extremely responsive to my concerns, willing to accommodate my busy schedule, and positive about the likely outcome. He did not pressure me in any way, made himself available for follow-up contact, and was reassuring when I finally decided to proceed. The surgery itself went exactly as promised, and the outcome was better than I could have hoped for. I should also mention that Dr Massry's office was equally welcoming, making the entire process all the more rewarding. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Massry. To say Dr. Massry is a surgical genius would be an understatement. Getting a needed upper eyelid (blepharoplasty) and endoscopic brow lift (brow reset) surgery was a well thought out decision I made over much time. After researching many surgeons, options and techniques, a recommendation to see Dr. Massry came to me in the highest regard. I found his medical eduction, abilities and outcomes inspiring. At my consult, Dr. Massry thoroughly explained the surgery and answered my questions in detail. Although he had only given me a 30-50% prediction for best outcome, I still eagerly agreed to move forward. As I was a suited candidate for an upper eyelid surgery in my mid 50's, I had also been very unhappy with a noticeable, odd bump under one eye, (I would often get asked about). Dr. Massry was fairly certain it was a cyst of some sort he could remove, but he told me not to waste my money on a lower blepharoplasty because he just didn’t see me having much result. I respected that, however since I requested he remove the bump, I told him I would leave the lower eye area, decision-making up to him during the surgery. He wound up adding lower eyelid fat transfer and Canthoplasty. Note: I had the option to surgically balance my naturally "uneven" eyebrows, I chose not to fix that. Right after surgery I had some discomfort, but pain was manageable. After two days I was literally sailing. By day 10 I returned after surgery. Dr. Massry walked in the room, looked at me with a huge smile, in disbelief and told me I was one of his top favorite outcomes ever, in his words “You know, I never thought I could get you here. You went from my prediction of a 30-50% outcome to a home run. We knocked it out of the park.” In that moment and now almost six months out, I couldn’t be happier. He did everything better than I EVER imagined. My outcome is absolutely incredible. His team has all been very kind and helpful. If I named one team member would not be fair because they all played an extremely helpful role in this process. The hugest thank you to Dr. Massry and everyone who was a part of my journey. Dr. Massry is simply the very best. I went to him as I had hooded eyes and was extremely puffy and hollow under my eyes. I also had filler that had migrated to my eyes. He dissolved the filler and I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer and a brow lift. I am now 3 months out and I am beyond happy. I used to wake up every day looking tired even if I was rested. He is patient, kind and a master at what he does. His staff is wonderful, calming and always there to help. Dr Massry is a genius! I had a lower bleph in 2019 that left my eyes uneven and "wonky". Needless to say, this left me completely depressed to the point where I did not want to leave the house. I went to 3 different doctors who told me this could not be fixed as too much skin was removed. The last doctor I saw recommended I seek out an ocular surgeon which is how I found Dr Massry. I had an upper bleth, brow recontour and fat transfer. 50 years old Dr. Massry listened to all my wants and concerns then explained in detail the path he would take to achieve it. I was suffering with complications from a lower blepharoplasty that the original surgeon wasn’t able to repair. Three surgeries had been performed on my eye in 2 months. I was suffering with lower lid retraction and entropion (eye lashes turned into my eye). My case was complicated further because the original surgeon had placed a tear trough implant. Thankfully Dr Massry agreed to take on my case. He successfully corrected my eye with a graft from the roof of my mouth and some other techniques. I’m 4 weeks post op and my eye looks normal again!
