No matter my weight, I've had a soft jawline my entire life. When I put on weigh it's definitely one of the first places it goes. I decided to go ahead and try out the cool mini because it's a non-invasive procedure without chemicals.. Also, I liked the fact that the swelling/recovery process would not be as dramatic as Kybella. I have to say with all I read, I was really pleased not to have experienced any major pain during the cooling process or the massage afterwards. Yeah, it was little uncomfortable here and there, but seriously nothing I would complain about. Updated on 29 Apr 2017: I am please to say I have no bruising and have no pain in my chin/neck area. The skin is a little tender to the touch, but not bad at all. I slept fine - no issues at all! I might be a tiny bit swollen,b ut I can't really say for sure. I still look like me. Updated on 20 May 2017: I'm feeling like my chin is 95% back to normal. Only slight numbness and not tender anymore. The swelling, which I don't think was bad in the first place has subsided. Now I just wait.... Yesterday, I did my tummy and flanks (6 applications: 2 large, 4 small). I will review those separately for those who may be interested. Updated on 23 May 2017: Still too early to see results. Updated on 12 Jun 2017: It's been just over 6 weeks now and I can't say I've noticed any changes. I don't have great "before" pictures, but I'd hoped to see a difference that was obvious enough not to need them! Still, i have my second round coming up in July and I may see changes before that even if what they say is true that it's really about 8-12 weeks before you notice. I just hope if the first round does not offer much change, the second is really effective. We shall see. This really is a test of one's patience, and I'm not known for mine. ;) I did my belly just three weeks ago, and I swear I already see a difference there. Updated on 28 Jun 2017: I will be updating my review with pics in the next couple of days. In the meantime, I can tell you that I am happy with the results so far. I'm still scheduled to do another round in early July. I think I will keep that appointment, but I'm already really happy with the progress. My chin was definitely slower than my belly to show results, but at 10 weeks, I'm pretty happy! Updated on 6 Jul 2017: The first round definitely did a lot! I go in tomorrow for my second round. Hope this is not a sign of ineffectiveness. I am still hoping for some great results. There was some slight bruising after this round, but nothing anyone else would notice, and it was gone within a few days. Will let you know how it all turns out. Updated on 7 Aug 2017: At four weeks post my second treatment, I'm not seeing any real changes yet. It took at least eight weeks for my first round to show, so no surprise there. Just being patient. :)

Dr. Benest was very comprehensive with what I was asking her. I told her I wanted whatever this thing was on my face gone and she said no problem, she told me it was a cystic pimple and immediately gave me a solution. I've had a few dermatologists in my day and out of all of them she was the one to rightfully diagnose what was on my face within minutes of examination and deliver a solution. Dr. Benest has my trust when it comes down to it.

I have had a series of Restalyne injections, the most recent was in early 2008. I am happy to report that the effects on me are quite long lasting. The wrinkles around my naso-labial (sp?) folds have stayed gone. (I have had 3 treatments to the area.) I also asked the doctor to treat my frown lines between my eyebrows with a touch of Restalyne. The effects are not as lasting on this area, but still a big improvement vs. no treatment to the area. I plan to refresh the areas again in 2009. What I like about Restalyne is that it is completely natural looking on me.

A couple of years ago I bought a package of 3 laser treatments from this office. The first laser treatment was ok, but the second and third laser treatments were horrible, because the machine kept breaking down, especially on the last session when the laser burnt my left side of my face causing burns, and scars. I DO NOT recommend this place for any kind of laser treatment, because they had older machines, and don't maintain them in proper working order. They could severely burn your face, or areas of your treatment.

I have done several different superficial peels but none have really been of any noticeable difference. Sure, my skin looked smoother at first but then seemed to go back to its old self, i.e., thick, oily, uneven textured, superficially scarred skin, with its large pores esp. on my nose still noticeable as ever skin, in addition to hyperpigmentation, still as noticeable as ever, making me feel like more self-conscious than ever....ughh. I do everything from using Retin-A to Tazorac gel to even trying Ma Ma lotion to see if that will make my skin look smoother, all to no avail. So I'm willing to give the "green peel" a go because it looks like it will actually peel a layer or two away and maybe even help with my hyperpigmentation. I would just like to get a peel (or two?) that will have a noticeable effect on the hyperpigmentation, scarring, and help my skin look somewhat brighter and smoother, and stay that way. Not expecting baby smooth skin, just nice improvement is all I'm hoping for, and I definitely don't want to go with injections like Radiesse, etc., too invasive for me. I have a consult tomorrow, so I will go from there. I'm hopeful. To be continued. :0) We shall see.
