Ever since my vaginal hysterectomy almost 20 years ago, I've been experiencing vaginal pain almost non-stop. Creams and estrogen didn't take care of my burning pain sensations I had. Gynecologists told me nothing was wrong. One of my OBGYNs confirmed my burning pain and gave me Vagifem, which took 4 months to alleviate the burning. But after a year, the burning came back. I saw Dr. Hettiarachchi on the TODAY SHOW in August of 2018. I didn't think much about the treatments offered as I had given up. But then I saw more information on Social Media, and I thought I had nothing to lose. I booked an appointment for the free consultation with Dr. H at his Cornelius office, and after he examined me (the exam was very gentle and non painful) I decided to go ahead with the Mona Lisa Touch Treatment. His caring staff numbed the area, and he gently proceeded with the treatment. My burning pain stopped right after the first treatment. I've had 3 treatments and I'm very satisfied with the Mona Lisa Touch Treatment. I highly recommend the Charlotte Pelvic Center. Dr. Hettiarachchi and his knowledgeable and kind staff, especially Katarina who showed much kindness about my pain, and would answer my concerns via text so quickly. I really appreciated that! All of his staff who were there during all my treatments were very kind, gentle and professional.

This man is so great, gentle and listens to my concerns. So glad I chose to have this done. My life is better because of this treatment. Telling all my friends who will listen. The staff are helpful and supportive, calling with reminders and follow ups. Love this experience.

I started receiving the Monalisa treatment in December 2017 for a condition called lichen sclerosus and stress incontinence. As a dermatologist who treats this condition, I can say that the Mona Lisa treatment is better than anything that is available medically. My itching has pretty much ceased as well as my urinary stress incontinence. I don’t feel the urgency to run to the restroom every hour. My vagina internally is moist and I feel young again. I would highly recommend this treatment or anyone with these conditions.

Dr. Hettsiarachchi and his staff are very knowledgeable and make me feel so welcome to their office. The treatments I have received have made such a difference in my health and well-being. There are multiple advantages to having MonaLisa Touch performed. There is no more vaginal dryness or painful sex. Annoying bladder leaks from sneezing have stopped. Dr. Hettiarachchi and his staff were very professional yet personal, they made me feel very comfortable and at ease in the procedure that he performed in his office. While in his office I felt as if I had known them for most of my life, yet this was my second encounter with them after a consultation. Dr. Hettiarachchi and his staff provide a much needed service for lichen sclerosis. I was diagnose with this 3 years ago and the itching was making me miserable. After 5 treatments, the itching is gone.

I have Lichen Sclerosus and hadn’t had intercourse in 3 years. After just one treatment I’ve had amazing results already and have had sex again. I understand that I will need more treatments. This is the first time that anything has helped me. My husband is also thrilled. Everyone has also noticed that I’m not running to the bathroom as much anymore. Everyone needs to know. This was the most amazing, results oriented procedure I have every experienced. Immediately, upon the start of menapause, so many things in my body changed and I was not as easily excited and experienced some dryness. This procedure literally brought me back to my mid-30's sexually peak. It was so simple..little downtime and so so effective! I feel so much more alive and beautiful.
