Why consider an oculoplastic surgeon for eyelid surgery?

Oculoplastic surgeons are board certified in ophthalmology (eye surgery) and have completed specialty training in plastic surgery of the eye area, upper face, eye sockets and tear duct system. This training has given me the keen awareness for the nuances required to give patients a refreshed and naturally shaped eyelid, while also protecting the eye's health.

While I focus my practice in oculoplastics, I do maintain my board certification in ophthalmology and I'm an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Procedures I perform include: cosmetic eyelid and brow surgery, repair of droopy eyelids, tear duct obstructions, removal of tumors/lesions, as well as wrinkle correction using injectables, lasers and chemical peels. Although many plastic surgeons do perform eyelid surgery, it is my unique qualifications that lend itself to be most specialized when it comes to upper face rejuvenation.
