How to Get Luscious Lashes with Latisse

Picture this . . . your eyelashes are SO long and luscious that they bump the inside of your sunglasses. What?! This can happen for you, with the regular use of Latisse. Latisse is a prescription treatment manufactured by Allergan for hypertrichosis, which is inadequate or not enough eyelashes. Simply put, Latisse extends the growth phase of the hairs. This produces longer, darker, and thicker lashes.

Latisse contains bimatoprost, the same active ingredient that is in the glaucoma drug Lumigan. While treating patients for glaucoma, physicians noticed the uncharacteristic growth in the lashes, and thus, Latisse was born. An amazing accidental discovery!

So, how does Latisse work? It's applied to the eyelash line once a day. A drop of Latisse is placed onto the provided applicator brush, and a new brush is used on each eye, every night. Swipe the brush along the lash line of the upper eyelid, going from the inner part of the lash to the outer. Blot the excess, throw away the brush, and repeat on the other eyelid with a new applicator. It's that easy!

However, great eyelashes won’t happen overnight. You have to be patient and give Latisse 16 weeks to reach the full results. If you stop using Latisse, the appearance of your eyelashes will return to the way it was before you started using the product. If you keep up with your daily use of Latisse, expect to get many compliments on your beautiful lashes.
