The IDEAL STRUCTURED BREAST IMPLANT

What is the best implant if a woman does not want to have a silicone implant?  What are her options?

There are basically three choices:

1-    Natural Breast Augmentation  (NBA) with her own body fat

2-    Saline implants

3-    The IDEAL STRUCTURED  implant

The Ideal Implant was created by a plastic surgeon to provide women with a beautiful, natural and safe option that will provide peace of mind to those concerned about silicone  implants and silicone implant rupture.  These new structured implants are designed to be filled with saline but the inner structure allows for a natural feel a

nd look.

The inner shells give the saline a more viscous or thicker feel than saline implants and avoid the “sloshing” movement of saline implants.  The Structured Ideal Implant feel and behave more like a silicone implant without the potential issues of silicone.

Who is a good Candidate for the Ideal Implant?

Any woman over the age of 18 , in good health and would otherwise be a good candidate for a silicone implant  can choose the Ideal Structured Implant.

What incisions are required?

Like any implant, the incisions can be made under the breast, around the areola, or in the armpit.  Generally the incision is smaller than that needed for a silicone implant.

What are the risks and limitations of the Ideal Structured Implant?

Saline implants can be placed through the belly button or TUBA procedure (transumbilical breast augmentation).  The IDEAL imlant , because of its structure, is slightly larger  and can be placed through any of the other 3 incisions.  Although the rate of capsular contracture (CC) is very low with the IDEAL, there is still a small percentage of CC cases.  Deflation occurs in a small percentage, but the saline fill is harmless and is absorbed by the body.

Who can perfrom Brest Augmentation with IDEAL Structured Breast Implants?

For the safety of patients, this implant is only sold to Board Certified Plastic Surgeons who must be properly instructed on the proper method of sizing, insertion and filling of this implant.
