How can you tell if you're in good hands with an injector?

I have several clues for you:

First, look at the staff in the office your are visiting. If everyone in the office looks over plumped or off balance, chances are you might end up looking that way as well. Second, start with a basic consult to explain your facial goals. An injector should be willing to spend time discussing treatment options, whether it's with injectables or surgery. Clearly you will want to express what bothers you and what your expectations can be and what injectables or procedures might be best to meet your beauty concerns.

In a younger patient (under 35), the solution may relate directly to the problem you're perceiving. More typically, on a more mature patient, the perceived problem may have to do with volume loss elsewhere in their face. A proper consult should include a thorough 'once over' - a review of the signs of aging from your hairline to your neck. From here, that should lead to a plan for rejuvenation which ultimately may include a conversation about surgical options as well.

Lastly, you should not feel pressured to proceed on the spot. While injections can be performed on the same day as the consult, there may be some additional planning involved in delivering a great result , and in many cases, allowing you proper preparation and recovery.
