Dr. Zimm and his team have been incredibly attentive, providing me with all the information and support I needed before, during, and after my recovery. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor to perform my primary septoplasty. He’s a true artist and perfectionist. I’m beyond happy with my results - subtle and natural, so that I still look like myself, just more refined. After researching many doctors, I was drawn to Dr. Zimm’s ENT background, especially after hearing stories about patients experiencing functional issues after going to the wrong doctor. I’m a guy that was unhappy with my nose and felt self-conscious about my appearance. Not only was my breathing obstructed with a deviated septum that impacted my daily life - leading to chronic sinus infections - but I had a nose that did not suit my face and deeply impacted my self-esteem. I’m in my twenties now and have wanted a rhinoplasty ever since I was in high school - but the idea of surgery was terrifying. I finally began my search in 2023 and went to three different consultations in a couple different states. I knew I wanted the surgery - but was scared of an outcome that made me look unrecognizable. I almost gave up on surgery because of my fears until I found Dr. Zimm’s Instagram, where I saw his work on male noses and immediately knew that he was the surgeon for me. And days after my consultation with him, I booked my surgery. Dr. Zimm is not only a perfectionist but also a true artist. I expressed that I wanted a nose that looked like “me”, kept the same shape from the front but smaller/removed dorsal hump from the side but still masculine. I’ve read horror stories from strangers online about feeling unrecognizable and hating their rhinoplasty result from different surgeons. I was terrified of an outcome like this and was so scared of making a mistake. My old nose was too strong for my face, but I made it work! The last thing I wanted was a nose that was even worse. In January of 2024 I finally had my surgery, Zimm and his crew stayed late to make sure my result was an improvement for the rest of my life, and the results have been life-changing. Not only has my breathing has improved, which has enhanced my overall quality of life - but I finally feel like myself. It’s so hard to articulate this feeling - but once initial swelling went down I didn’t for a second dislike my results or not feel like “me”. It feels like the nose I was supposed to be born with and completely transformed my life. I got exactly what I wanted - my front still looks like before with a masculine but refined/smaller side. When it came to booking a rhinoplasty, I searched for the best doctors ranging from Beverly Hills to NYC, and Dr. Zimm truly was the only doctor that stood out to me. His work is unique to each person which I really loved, no cookie cutter noses over here! His team is lovely and so accommodating, which made me feel so comfortable. I was lucky enough to get a rhinoplasty procedure as a birthday present from my partner. When I started the search for a surgeon, I was quite clear that I did not want to carry out the procedure in Scandinavia (where I am from) but preferably the US and then preferably NYC or LA, as I have the impression that the best doctors are located there. The search for the right surgeon seemed overwhelming. I was terrified of choosing the wrong one, not getting the right chemistry, etc.. Especially also, since English is not my first language, safety was something I valued. I finally found Dr.Zimm through realself.com. From the first virtual consultation, I knew I wanted to use him. He is confident, warm and honest. He explains things in an easily comprehensible way and in no way gives the impression of "pushing" you into surgery. His Instagram page speaks for itself and his results are gorgeous, refined and don't look like the typical cookie-cutter results out there. The process after signing and agreeing on surgery went like a dream. He has a wonderful team of beautiful women so a shout out to Susie, Mariela and Shelby who were all absolutely wonderful and responded to inquiries at any time of the day. Everything was done with patience and warmth, even if my questions were probably a bit silly at times. The day of the surgery I was of course very nervous. But here, the great people at Luxurgery also take very good care of you! Then to the result. I am now three weeks post surgery. I'm falling more and more in love with my new nose! It feels like I've had small adjustments made so that I've got the nose I was initially meant to have. According to Dr. Zimm, the swelling is still around 50% but I already think the nose looks absolutely beautiful! A bonus, which he did not inform about in advance, is that the nasal passage (in my case anyway) was straightened during the surgery and I notice that I breathe better then pre-surgery. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Zimm and his team. If you are looking for a surgeon who strives for natural results, adapted to your face and physique, look no further! I hope this review will make someone choose Dr.Zimm so they can have as great an experience as I had.

Don’t go anywhere else. I had my 3rd rhinoplasty to repair nasal valve collapse and a puncture. It was a very intricate surgery. I looked all over the country for the best surgeon. Make sure ALWAYS to look at front pictures of before and after. Most surgeons just show the sides. Dr. Zimm performed a miracle on my nose. I hope I can help someone else by leaving this review. My life is changed both breathing (I could not breathe and barely smell) and looking. Oh my gosh it is truly amazing.

I was not going to go through with rhinoplasty if I didn't find the perfect surgeon, and I immediately knew that I found who I was looking for when I had my first meeting with Dr. Zimm. He is everything you want in a surgeon - a professional at the top of his craft with a bedside manner that is rare to find. He is, first and foremost, incredibly kind, and allayed fears that had prevented me from exploring rhinoplasty before. My nose is better than I could have ever imagined. I was worried that I would look like a completely different person, but his work was so perfect and fits my face so well that people that have known me my whole life didn't realize I had anything done until I told them. Within three months post-op, I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and had no swelling whatsoever. I've been self-conscious about my nose since I was young. I got a consultation when I was 18 but I was too scared to move forward with the procedure. Several years later, I got another consultation and was still not completely convinced that it was the right decision. I was nervous that it would completely change my face or have that classic nose job look that I hated. Unfortunately, it was one of those insecurities that I couldn't get past. 10 years after my first consultation, my friend got a rhinoplasty procedure done by Dr. Zimm. I was blown away by the results. It was so natural, and she looked incredible. Without hesitation, I signed up for a consultation and ended up booking an appointment 3 months later. Dr. Zimm and his team are amazing. I am currently around 2 months post op and I'm so happy with the result of my new nose. It really fits my face so well, and you wouldn't even know I had surgery because it just looks so natural. Him and his team are so genuine and really tried to make me comfortable throughout the entire process. Something that stands out about Dr. Zimm is that he is very realistic and upfront about what he can do with your nose, and doesn't try to sell you perfection, while also being very open and receptive to your wishes and expectations. He definitely truly cares about his patients and that is so clear with the care and support he gives both pre and post op. The recovery process is definitely long, but with Dr. Zimm and his team, especially Heather and Claire, it is a breeze. I've come in for multiple post op appointments so far and they all have made sure I was totally good, had everything I needed to heal, and were always available by phone/email whenever I had a question. I really feel like they have gone the extra mile for me, and I'm so appreciative for this experience. I am so happy I decided on Dr. Zimm for my rhinoplasty because he truly is the best!
