Enhancing Results of Botox and Fillers

by

Wrinkles on the face are some of the most common concerns we use and Botox and fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, Restylane, and Radiesse to address these concerns. Topical products such as the Alastin Restorative Skin Complex and the A E Skin Hydrating Serum enhance the results of these treatments.

What is Botox used for?

Botox is used to treat wrinkles associated with facial expression. Common areas of treatment with Botox include the horizontal lines on the upper forehead seen when we raise the brows, the vertical lines between the brows seen when we frown, and the crow’s feet around the eyes seen when we smile or squint. Botox works by relaxing the muscles that we use to make these expressions and smoothening the overlying wrinkles.

What are fillers used for?

Fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, Restylane, and Radiesse are used to restore areas of volume loss in the face and off the face as well. Perhaps the most common area of treatment is the nasolabial fold, the wrinkle that goes from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Sometimes this wrinkle extends to the jawline as what are called the marionette lines. In these areas, as well as wrinkles directly around the mouth, the products serve to fill in the wrinkles. In the mid-face fillers such as Voluma can be used to restore volume loss that occurs with aging. This provides the apple of the cheek and pulls up on the lower face to address wrinkles, sagging, and jowls. Fillers such as Volbella can also be used to fill in hollows under the eyes and to plump the lips.

What is the Alastin Restorative Skin Complex?

The Alastin Restorative Skin Complex is a new topical product that is used for facial rejuvenation. When used with treatments such as Botox and fillers, the Alastin Restorative Skin Complex will enhance the results. It does this through its proprietary TriHex peptide technology, which stimulates the skin to form collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are two proteins in the skin that maintain the youthful appearance by providing structural support and keeping the skin tight. As we age the amounts of collagen and elastin in the skin decrease, leading to signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles. When the skin produces its own natural new, fresh, and healthy collagen and elastin the skin becomes tighter and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines is improved. Additionally, the Alastin Restorative Skin Complex contains other ingredients to volumize the skin, effectively boosting the effects of fillers. The Alastin Restorative Skin Complex also contains potent antioxidants to protect the skin from further damage and to smoothen out the skin tone. When the Alastin Restorative Skin Complex is used, the results of treatments such as Botox and fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, Restylane, and Radiesse) are enhanced. This means better results are seen and patients enjoy their results for a longer period of time.

What is the A E Skin Hydrating Serum? The A E Skin Hydrating Serum is one of our most popular products. It is like drinking a glass of water for the skin. The A E Skin Hydrating Serum contains hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar found in the skin that binds 1,000 times its weight in water. When applied topically to the skin the A E Skin Hydrating Serum draws the water into the skin providing hydration. This helps fill in fine lines on the surface of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is the same ingredient in many fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure, and Restylane. When fillers are injected into the deep layers of the skin and the A E Skin Hydrating Serum is applied topically to the skin surface the effects of hydration are increased. This allows for an improvement in the wrinkles and for the results to last longer.
