CRYSTAL UPSHAW SPENT $25,000 TO LOOK LIKE BRITNEY SPEARS
My last few relationships ended badly and my self-esteem was low. I didn't think I was ungly but my nose was pointy and had a bump on it. I hated the shape of my profile becasue I had small breasts. I loved Britney Spears' look - she's really pretty. People were always saying that looked like her, so I visited Dr. Boris Ackerman and showed him a picture of Britney. He was supportive and said he'd do his best to make me look like her.
My family weren't happy. They said:"You're pretty enough. "But it was something I wanted. I had rhinoplasty, breast implant (34B to a 34D) and fat injections in my lips and cheeks.
When I got home, I looked at my breasts and nearly cried. They were swollen and much higher than I thought they should be. But they dropped into place after a while. The healing process took six weeks. It was very uncomfortable and I couldn't breathe out of my nose for a few days and or even drive.
Today, I get a lot of attention. I was shy before, but now I'm happy and open. Still, there are negatives. My grandma doesn't like it - she says I'm not the sweet girl I was. I get really upset that she feels that way.
