Bride-to-Be? Say “Yes” to These 3 treatments

by

At South Shore Plastic Surgery we are just as excited about your big day as you are and we want to say congratulations! While an intimate relationship can take hard work and dedication, the relationship you have with your skin and body is lifelong. When you’re planning the types of flowers that will line the aisle, and which party favors will go with your Casablanca theme, take a moment to think about your skin. Will you look dazzling in your photos or do you need a little help to smooth premature wrinkles and address dry and tired skin? In New Jersey, weddings are the theme for the summer months, so we like to make sure our brides-to-be are saying yes to these 3 treatments so you look flawless in every photo.

  1. Microdermabrasion refines the face by breaking down dead skin cells and assisting the skin in completing a process similar to cellular renewal that naturally slows down in your late 20s and 30s. Using tiny crystals to gently abrade the skin, we can polish your appearance for brighter tone and reduce all signs of aging before wrinkles set into the skin. In addition to a custom exfoliation, Dr. Vasisht will nourish the skin with a custom cocktail of nutrient-infused serum that work within the dermis to improve dehydrated and deteriorated cells. When the skin is hydrated and properly exfoliated, it appears smooth and vibrant. Microdermabrasion can reveal immediate results that improve over the next few days following the treatment.
  2. We’ve talked about exfoliation and how this can soften wrinkles and improve coloring, but Botox is the nonsurgical anti-wrinkle treatment that stops wrinkles from forming. Neurotoxins exhibit control over muscle contractions that induce folds and fine lines around the eyes, in the forehead, and between your brows. Many of our future brides comes to us at South Shore and ask about the thin parallel lines in between their eyebrows and developing crow’s feet. Botox only takes a few minutes to inject into these active muscles and only a couple of days to take effect, but these wrinkles are virtually removed from your appearance.
  3. If you’re thinking about getting your wedding dress a size smaller, just to see if you can push yourself to diet and exercise as much as possible before your wedding, you’re not alone. For most patients, healthy meals and cardio will reduce the fat, but your efforts may not cover all those little bulges and asymmetrical areas. However, our CoolSculpting treatment gradually trims fat cells over a period of six months after a one-hour treatment session. So if you’ve planned ahead, these nonsurgical treatment options have time to produce the results you want for a contoured waistline.

Start your cosmetic treatments now so that you have time to fine tune your appearance, because wedding photos last a lifetime.
