Dr. Mary Lee Peters, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Seattle, Washington. Named by her fellow doctors in Seattle Magazine as one of Seattle’s “Top Docs,” Dr. Peters draws patients from all over in search of natural-looking results for everything from facelifts and tummy tucks to breast augmentation and injectables.

“I enjoy helping patients make the choices about physical appearance that enrich their emotional well-being,” she says. “People should feel comfortable in their own bodies.”

Dr. Peters graduated cum laude from The University of Virginia and went on to receive her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (now part of VCU Medical Center). She completed a surgical internship at Barnes Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri prior to a succession of surgical residencies at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

For her advanced surgical education, she did a two-year fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, as well as a plastic surgery fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. This was followed by a private fellowship working in microsurgical techniques in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Peters is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
